Good afternoon, all!

Happy BNiversary, Miss Hesta Jones 🎉

@donna255, that was such a lovely story - it made me smile while I read it. Thank you for sharing it ❤️

@Cook.bot, I hope you continue to improve and feel better 💪🏻

Nice to meet you, @rynegne 🙂

@mikeperez23, I hope that you get well soon ❤️‍🩹 I will absolutely be sampling Eau de Rhubarbe Ecalarte … thank you for that extra push!

I’ve also finally found @ClockworkAlice and @N.CAL Fragrance Reviewer ‘s syncs, and hope to join in on them from now on. Are there any other sync threads to be aware of?

SOTD is vintage Coty La Rose Jaqueminot, in a sync with my dear @Tea_Lilly. It is such a beautiful fragrance, such an authentic rose. I could definitely wax poetic about Jacqueminot, but I feel too tired to be verbose today. It’s absolutely lovely, though. A gem.

Happy Friday! We made it!

I was a little curious myself! Not being a Guerlain fan, I figured it would be between Hermès and Chanel -- but no! Hermès is tied with Dior at eleven apiece. Of course Dior has been effectively dead to me since about 1990, so it really only competes in the vintage category.

I admire the hell out of Hermès, and Chanel too, since they're the last two bastions standing between us and the complete corporatization of the major perfume houses. I just hope they can both hold out against LVMH and L'Oreal, et al, for the rest of my lifetime.

And for the SOTD and Sync I'll fly the Hermès flag with another wearing of my recuperation scent, Osmanthe Yunnan. I truly love it.

I thought maybe you'd pick Hermes, but I wasn't sure. I was on the right track but you're not a perfume lover who is easily pigeonholed. You're perfume house polyamorous.

I am a modern human. I wasn't sure about myself, but now I am just home from taking my first Uber ride.
I don't really have a favorite house, per se. I'm wearing Rose Essentielle but can't call that being in sync.

Edit: Rose Essentielle was my day scent but NOW I'm in Peau D'Ailleurs and it's a Fabulous. Thank you @HouseOfPhlegethon and further upstream @Cook.bot . I would never have tried it without you both!

This just inspired me to go find my decant of Bois del Iles before winter is over.
100% of everything your post just said.

I went from Ensens Suave to Libre Intense. I blind bought Libre Intense around the time of the pandemic. I chose it tonight because Spring is almost here, in my neck of the woods. I don’t want to let it entropy in my wardrobe, but I’m also trying to get away from heavy vanillas. I think I just burnt myself out on them. I forgot how potent this stuff is! Holy cow!
