What's your spray method and does it get you noticed/Compliments ?

Hello fragrance nerds 🤓 just wanted to know what's your spray method that you find the most effective at projecting your frangraces ?

Two sprays (or dabs with a splash) to the chest when a cotton t-shirt is already on. Some amount of liquid will be absorbed by the cotton. A spray or dab to the back of each hand or to each wrist, and from there to the neck. And then another round to each hand and/or wrist. Around six sprays or dabs total, but not huge sprays. About 0.5 ml total.

I get compliments (or insults, depending) with this application method.

Sounds like a great method I'm definitely going to try that out something about my chemistry likes to eat fragrances and I'm trying to find the most effective method for me. Also to the insults forget the haters lol

Apply the fragrance on each side of the neck and on the chest.

Projection depends on the frag. I spray the same either way - back of the neck; shoulders, and inside the elbows. I avoid the mid chest to prevent anosmia.

Three sprays always regardless of the scent. Personally don't pay any heed to projection.

I learned from hednic--3 sprays of whatever I'm wearing (2 to my neck, and 1 to my chest) is ideal. I wear fragrances for me, so I don't care about compliments. If I get one it's a nice rear bonus.

Generally two sprays: one split gently between the wrists and one on the neck. Maybe three with one for each wrist if the sprayer is weak or I'm feeling generous.

Then, sometimes I like to run the fingertips and wrists with a bit of freshly-applied perfume on them along in other places, like a faint swipe at the back of the neck, behind the ears, through the hair, at the sternum if I'm wearing something with a deep neckline, or even behind the knees or at the ankles. But that's a minuscule faint whiff of perfume being spread across all those places, more a ritual of feeling covered than any real generous quantity.

No compliments except from my lover. Don't particularly mind. I wear them for me.

• One spray to each inner elbow
• One spray on one wrist, rub to the other
• One to the center chest
• If the perfume isn't terribly loud, I'll spray one over my head and let it mist down on me AFTER I'm dressed - i.e. as a hair and clothes mist

So 4-5 sprays and I often get "noticed" by people - mostly co-workers who know I'm into perfume anyway.

I don't like to spray my neck - I'll either go blind to it really quick, OR it'll get cloying really quick. Better to keep it away from my face.
