Nothing in the past 6 months mostly because I have not kept my game up...
However, prior to that, I was wow'ed by the following:

Omanluxury Wanderlust
Amouage Overture
Nishane Unutamam

And a bit by Orto Parisi Bergamask but not enough to buy a bottle :)

Rania J. Cuir andalou.
Lovely smoky sweet and gently animalic leather. Very nice.
Not quite as good as my beloved Lovers Tale for animalic leather, but close. More safe for work too.

I was blown away by Abîme from Maison Violet, a wonderful peppery, woody incense. Lots of great cedar wood and Palo Santo with resins. Quite unforgettable!
I am also very taken with Shalimar Millésime Tonka, which I find absolutely shalimarly sensual and perfectly dry with a voluptuous bitterness. Oh it's gorgeous, I could waddle in it

I continue to be impressed by both smell and performance of Floris 1962. Still trying to work out the ideal number of sprays. 4 is too many and 1 might not be enough. I will try 2 sprays for a few days and see how it goes, but lovely aroma, lots of fresh musks and ambroxans, but underneath a classic aromatic/woody aroma. Good stuff, the right mix of old and new.

Armaf Niche Oud. It took several months to acquire this amber fragrance because it kept selling out; I now understand why. It is really good.

Cheers!

Hivernale by House of Hautt was the best from the house that I tried recently which is a soft and refined amber fragrance.

L'Eau des Immortels by Voyages Imaginaires which is a Amber Woody fragrance blew me away! Just a wonderful scent from this house. Will probably be picking this up tomorrow.

I know I'm way late to the party but Dior Homme Intense is a stunner for me. Now of course I'm trying to find a reliable and not ridiculously overpriced source for a bottle of the parfum.

I was completely amazed after trying Costume Liquide by Pierre Guillaume, a wonderful peppery, vetiver scent.

Chaugan Terre de Perse. So elegant, so barbershoppy, yet so modern. It goes in several directions at once, and keeps evolving into a scrumptious drydown I cannot stop smelling.

(It is not the same as the one listed in the directory, which adds Fleur de Pavot to the Terre de Perse appellation and has very different notes.)

Falcon leather.

Bought a small bottle of this and liked it. The more I wear it the more I like it and now I love it.
No nonsense birchy leather with no fruity facets

Mandodari by PRIN and Nimitr by Parfum Prissana are so good! Blew through my samples and they’re on the FB wishlist.

* Mandodari’s incensy, tobacco, white floral, animalic twang is addicting and the dry down of Nimitr really reminded me of a smoother more rounded out Antaeus.

Still another I was deeply impressed with was Rougewood by Maison Rebatchi. Glad I took the plunge on this.

Corpus Equus by Naomi Goodsir.
Work of art that transforms as you wear it.

Not sure if it’s for me yet, but I can certainly appreciate the artistry from Monsieur Douchaufour

Own and love both.

Frederic Malle Monsieur.
This one is slowly becoming my favorite patchouli perfume.
It’s dark, rough, coarse and dramatic, and anything over 1 spray is overwhelming.
And like many Frederic Malle perfumes it took a long time to warm up to and click with, but now that I have…
When I want patchouli, I find myself reaching for this over my vintage Givenchy Gentleman, vintage Zino, and Heritage 9 times out of 10.

Bel Oranger a new one by Fragonard was one of the most realistic orange scents I have tried and thought it was fabulous. Looking forward to receiving it.
