What’s disappointed you recently?

For Life by Eudora a Amber Woody fragrance was very weak and disappointing.

I was disappointed by Saurus by Blosson Ville an Amber Spicy fragrance - weak performance and a run of the mill smell.

I found Dusita's Splendiris and La Douceur de Siam pretty horrible.
Meanwhile the scent I was most impressed with from the brand, albeit not one I would buy a full bottle of myself, Oud Infini has apparently just been discontinued.
While I enjoy some (Mélodie de L'Amour, Erawan, Le Pavillon D'Or) others of their other scents, none of them blew me away so I guess the house as a whole was a bit of a disappointment.

Tonkaccino by Daniel Barros a Amber Spicy fragrance, was not to my liking. I found it harsh.

Frederic Malle Promise - I've worn this before as I've got a little 7ml freebie but I brought it with me on a trip and am wearing it now. I accidentally applied too much (it's a splash bottle) and the scent is really annoying me. So scratchy and harsh, I'm getting a dirty puddle of oil in tarmac and not in a good way.

Above All by Sapientiae Niche, a Woody Aromatic fragrance was another one I found awful.

Un Jardin à Cythère by Hermès. It was gone in no time.

The new Acqua di Gio EDP. It's one I've smelled before but I wanted to refresh my memory. Tried it from a tester in a shop at lunchtime, just awful stuff, so mediocre and similar to what's gone before in the aquatic-ambroxan category. It's a rare miss by Armani, the branding of the EDP lined it up to be something special, but they got it very wrong.

Airlines/Aviator Le Male. Rudimentary three to five notes tonka-based dreary fragrances. Writing a sentence about them feels like wasting letters in vain even.

Roja Oceania - mediocre at best

I sadly agree. I received a travel spray as a freebie after Roja delayed my order of Burlington 1819 -- which I love -- and dearly wanted to love this scent...but no. I actually have been disappointed with all of Roja's offerings aside from Burlington.

Armani Acqua di Gio Eau de Parfum. It's adequate, oh so adequate. For an eau de parfum it's so fleeting.

Amen, brother. I wore 4 sprays of this today and I can barely detect it. 1 neck, 1 chest, 1 side, 1 wrist. Fleeting? Indeed.

Escale en Indonesie by Les Indemodables

I own a full bottle. As my juice matures (I've had it only a few months) this cologne has just gotten stronger and stronger. Sadly, the stronger it gets, the less I like it. The real ambergris tincture is overpowering for me, and I find that Indonesie's salty ozonic accord, while perfectly natural, becomes screechy on my skin... and it is impossible to wash off 😝

Hopefully I'll be able to recoup some value on eBay!
