Deserve Homme by Mont’Anne Parfums, a Woody Spicy fragrance was an utter disappointment.

Secrets Black by Pierre Alexander, an Amber Woody fragrance was quit forgettable.

Malle by Racco, an Amber Woody fragrance was IMO sub-par.

A few highly rated samples from Nasamotto. All of them smelled cheap, forgettable, basic, synthetic, and monotone. I was looking forward to a rich and unique experience from the way they are reviewed on fragrantica and yt. Very surprising and disappointing.

Not so much a disappointment more a confusion. Gifted something called Cedar Noir by Medeau. Think it's a "concept" brand? Like iso e super things.

Not nearly as good as the original. Too loud, sour and the drydown smells like shower gel. Returning my bottle.

#004 Falling Water by L’envie Parfums, an Aromatic Aquatic fragrance was pretty weak and unappealing.

Greed Citrus Bigarade wins the booby prize for me: one-dimensional and not particularly pleasing -- a rarity for the brand -- with almost no longevity. I haven't found one online supplier that sells this in Canada, and I'm not particularly surprised. How disappointing!

I really wanted to like Lalique L'Insoumis. The first couple of hours are ok, but the performance drops off for me after that. Great presentation and although a little sharp initially, a decent opening. A few hours later and I'm wondering if it's still there. It just didn't work as an all day scent for me.

Ink by Akro. I’ve like a few of their offerings but this was too hatch, medicinal and cold for me. Maybe that’s what they were going for but not for me.
