Dior Dune Pour Homme - This one for the name, thinking of the sand deserts like the one in Dune. Probably could apply to the Middle East as well.
SOTA is Dior Dune
How this relates to the imagery of a dune, I don’t really know, but it smells really cool. A true iconoclast; nothing else smells like this.
I was looking through my perfumes looking for a story telling connection
Yes, this brand would work well for this weekend's sync. I've only sampled a few from this line and like you, I haven't made any FB purchases. It occurs to me that there probably would have been several candidates among the Imaginary Authors line. Unfortunately I've never been moved to make a full purchase of any of theirs, despite sampling many.
Very evocative! For the weekend sync, I'm going to go with Guerlain Eau de Cologne Imperiale. I could imagine it like opening up a Sprite or a 7up or perhaps consuming a margarita instead while soaking my feet into a pool of ice after a marathon run.
Ah yes, the cooling off weekend!
@thrilledchilled (excellent name for this weekend), what makes your pick seem cold? I'm not familiar with it.
@N.CAL Fragrance Reviewer I have not had a sprit in eons but I do clearly remember the sparkle and fizz that is a combination of the taste and the bubbles, nice!
I am thinking of scents in my collection that feel cool but I don't feel like wearing any of them, zo I'm picking my Nivea Sun EdT which smells like their sunscreen used to smell; a nostalgic scent that immediately sends me back to days spent at the local public pool or at the beach.
What a great list!Ice bath - Things the have mint or aromatic green or citrus feel to them.

And in California heat! That would be the goal. Normally I would run half marathon distances, I've done a number of those this summer.
L'Erbolario Rabarbaro half-captures this - as in slightly sweetened black tea scent. However it does not smell icy to me, as it goes a route of soft spices (cardamom I think) and that suggests hot/warm tea to me more.I wish somebody would invent an Iced Tea scent. Black tea, somehow made to seem very cold, and possibly slightly fizzy.
And it could have a flanker called Southern Sweet Tea -- just the same, but with added sweetness.
You said it so well.
