Which version? The one with the little cat sculpture on the cap, or the one with the cubist cat figure on the front of the botle?
I've only got the mini of of the parfum. Cats on each side. I have to admit, I was first interested in this because of the bottle, which led me to a review, which I liked (@fanny). I am so glad I got this - I am enjoying it. Today's sample is making me miss it even more. :D

Krizia Uomo.
Green and piney goodness nestled in a bed of moss and musk. A beautiful thing. Today, on my skin, I'm getting a One-Man Show type vibe. This is something I've heard others experience but I typically don't. But yeah, a very pronounced similarity today. Veddy interesting 🤔.)

Yeah, its pine note is awesome! And I also smell an One Man show's vibe although the earlier versions were also loaded with cloves, which I don't get much in OMS.

It's gorgeous here today. Our usual sweat-bath has evaporated, and it's like real weather at last -- crisp, cool enough to put on socks, and a little teasing breeze. I'm even kind of looking forward to getting the remnants of Hurricane Ian over the weekend, as long as they are rainy/breezy and not destructive. Hurricanes are less horrible when they don't mean the power is going out in 95F weather.

Perfect weather for the seasonal debut of The Master:

I totally agree and I am super jealous of your likely rain and wind this weekend! I want!! Damnit!! Our 7 day forecast is nothing but sun sun and more boring ass sun. Not a raindrop in sight...as per usual. But yes, hurricanes ARE less horrible when they've devolved into tropical depressions and only offer a bit of wind, some lovely thunder and lightning and rain. I miss rain...

What a great idea (y)

Similar conditions here so I'll follow your example :)

Moschino pour Homme.
(This masterpiece, yes MASTERPIECE, was the most pleasant surprise I'd ever blind bought awhile back. The leather is absolutely perfect and everything from the opening lavender to that heart of carnation down to the resinous, mossy leather base just sings. This is a complex, rich and masterful concoction. There's a lot going on here with distinct and delightful changes from top to base - it's one enjoyable ride. File this under "they don't make 'em like they used to.")

Cabochard (1959) by Bernard Chant for Parfums Gres

The newly resurrected (2019) formula deserves accolades galore. It had to be a tough one to pull off: aldehydes, galbanum, oakmoss, IBQ leather, castoreum -- a whole palette of restricted ingredients. They should have plastered the perfumers' names all over the packaging, it's such a fine approximation of the old beauty we all knew and loved. Throw in a handsome Lalique bottle and a bargain price, and it's a minor miracle.

I must follow the advice you offered awhile ago and upgrade my somewhat older version with this newer one. It sounds scrumptious!
