(I do aspire to one day owning a vintage, ”shaker" style bottle of Bel Ami but til then I'm ok with this and a brother bottle of Bel Ami Vetiver.
I will also add that I really do appreciate the house of Hermés. If nothing else they do know leather.)

It's a pity that JC Ellena didn't focus more on leathers during his tenure at Hermes. I guess he just had to get all those transparent gardens out of his system.

I suffered a tragedy today. I was going to join @JON RODGERS in the Friday Sync with the parfum of La Nuit de Paco Rabanne, but when I went to open that beautiful little silver flask, it was .... empty.

I know it wasn't depleted the last time I used it, so I have to assume it was the victim of evaporation.

So now it's time for my bottle of EDP to step up and assume the leadership.

Going to visit my wife’s family and did the full ride of Cabaret de Grès. Shower gel, aftershave, and EDT. I’m glowing in this sent. I think the fragrance in the bathroom has overloaded my wife! She’s claiming assault, on her senses! 😂🤣 I, on the other hand, absolutely love it!

Friday's SOTD was Ettore Bugatti by Diana de Silva. Such an opulence it brings and overlooked by many...I was going to put a SOTN but I'm still getting a strong blend of basenotes that I don't want to miss out on its beauty!

So warm, spicy, yet clean and crisp. A merging of semi-oriental and fresh fougère with a healthy cinnamon up top. Very underestimated fragrance, mostly due to name and price.
