Trussardi Uomo (Original) (1983)
(A masterful spicy leather with excellent longevity and decent sillage. Opens aldehydic with basil, thyme, marjoram, juniper, bergamot and lavender. Honey, carnation, rose and cedar dominate the heart with cinnamon also noticable. Also listed are laurel, vetiver and iris.
The base is dominated by a luxurious leather (castoreum?) along with patchouli and moss. Also listed are labdanum. Tonka, musk and olibanum. It's a pretty massive fragrance and methinks calling it a powerhouse is warranted. Magnificent stuff but beware the more recent version with the altered logo on the front - it has nothing in common with this besides the name!)

Going with Polo (Cosmair) again - which actually got me a compliment yesterday! As I was passing by a female co-worker (I’d guess she was probably in her 40s, just for a point of reference) she stopped me and asked what I was wearing, maybe an essential oil, perhaps patchouli? At first, I was horror stricken that perhaps I had over done it with the Polo application, even though it had been at least a couple hours; but when she said it smelled really good, whatever it was, I was relieved. I answered that it was Polo, from a bottle that was about 25 years old. She said, with a smile, “You’ve kept it this long? What are you going to do when it runs out?”. I just smiled and said that I’d “figure it out”.

Perac pour Homme (1982)
(Powerhouse leather fougere. Fairly obscure. Tremendous performance. Perac PH is a pretty special fragrance - don't let its obscurity deceive you. It's among the top in its class.
Parfums Perac did also issue a feminine fragrance also in 1982 called Noha-In. It came in EDT and Parfum concentrations.)
