Yes, I have several pieces.

Quite likely possible, answering with a definite yes of having tried such EDT (not aftershave lotion) splash bottles in various authorized offline distributor stores during the lat 90s to early 2000s.
Thus at least some (though albeit limited, subjective and/or inaccurate, incomplete) IRL confirmation existing just enough to back/confirm this particular hypothesis.
