The vintage Poison arrived. Still has all it's power from 1988. So different to the contemporary juice

Recycling hobbies - I sold some 35mm camera gear on ebay and got these:

Mitsouko EdC - some evaporation, but still smells amazing! 40+ years old and the topnotes are perfect!

The biggest bottle I have of anything. I finally saw the light on vintage Habit Rouge EdC after sniffing some that hadn't gone bad! I should have known its not supposed to smell like that.

Oh dear- today was rather an impulsive shopping day.
Despite already owning enough Fracas to stop a charging herd of elephants I bought 100ml more of vintage EDC , and a backup bottle of one of my favorite Guerlain's Coriolan and a blind buy of Fabuleuse de Leonard . The name Fabuleuse just called to me, LOL.

Well to update : I've recently bought a giftset of vintage YSL Y -edt,powder,and bathoil (which leeked a third of it's contents in transit),A red edt triangle of Liz Claiborne, partial bottles of pdt Infini ,Ralph Lauren Tuxedo,and Chopard Casmir,a backup-backup-bottle of Versace Dreamer,and a pretty full bottle of Azzaro 9 (from a ebay seller in NY )that decided to go of it's own choosing on a trip to California where it must be trying to get a tan or something 'cause it's been ping-ponging in the post offices there rather than come to the South in Alabama.

I had my birthday today and got a decent scent haul -from my parents Guerlain Shalimar Parfum Initial giftset, Discontinued new old stock Tom Ford Azuree Soliel fragrance spray and lotion, and a candle(that smells a LOT like Egoiste )called Rosewood .
From my grandma-Demeter Snow-I love how it smells COLD!
and a floral scarf and a necklace.
From my brother -Salvatore Ferragamo woman,Bijan Bijan,and a gift card .
My only problem now is what to wear first ..............

and my piece de resistance - 90ml Unused in black and white zig zag box Shalimar EDC

All for less than the cost of a bottle of standard Serge Lutens or Annick Goutal niche

Scent pennies all spent for this month and auction site been put out of bounds to me until payday (pending injection of willpower)

Congratulations Alityke, especially on the Shalimar EdC! I love that stuff. It sounds like you got some great deals, too. I have been amazed at the vintage treasures that can be had for so much less than the crazy prices on some niche stuff.

Wayhay the vintage Miss Dior arrived. WOW I had forgotten the beauty of it in the 80s. Very, very different from today's juice. Much more "perfumed" richer, more floral and lurking behind there deep, deep moss and a thorough animalic finish. Absoflippinlutely glorious

MMm, some stuff arrived.Out of the chocolate scents, I like the orange & choco combo one the most out of these. Allure Blanche,*really* not a fan. Way too lemony for me! And not a good lemon, an obtrusive lemon bomb! My husband was not a fan either and boy does that scent project and last a while. Imho. Hopefully my cedar sample pack will cheer me up.

After being outbid on Chanel Coromandel in 2 separate auctions on eBay, I decided I wanted it enough to pay retail. Stalking my mail carrier now, cannot wait for it to arrive!

Triple wow wow wow vintage part bottle 90s Opium EDT, vintage part bottle 80s Poison EDT and vintage full bottle almost pristine 60s Shalimar edc in zig zag box. Shalimar bottle has never been opened but I've broken the bottle seal to try the juice and it is incredibly good for something over 40 years old.

I smell like a tarts boudoir after testing them all
