Is there a source for this? Would be curious to see what is on the list.GIT now passed Fahrenheit for most-used Men's fragrance on the monthly SOTD charts. As it should, GIT is probably the most deserving of #1 status

Yes, the older bottles are simply so much better. I think mine is an '08. I wore it this week, and three partial sprays easily lasted all day.So the 2009 bottle arrived and it is lovely. Wearing it today. It is stronger, has a much wider top and bottom on opening, and is more natural smelling. It is absolutely worth seeking out older formulations I think although the newer ones are great. I can’t judge longevity but this is my new go-to bottle!
You can actually see through it if you shine a light or torch directly against it.So how do you guys tell how full your GIT bottle is? It’s opaque to light. Do you take the top off?
For me, I'll just waut until mine is empty and then buy another. So how do you guys tell how full your GIT bottle is? It’s opaque to light. Do you take the top off?
Know any reliable places to get older bottles?I bought 20K01 this summer. It’s like a neutered version of GiT. So sad. Gonna sell it.
I just sprayed some of my 17V01 and wow what a difference! immediately went online to hunt down some older stuff as what Creed are doing to their fragrances now is just horrible. Is it IFRA or just cost cutting? Either way it doesn’t really matter as I’m done with buying new Creed unless things change drastically. First World Problems I know
Where did you get your old bottle? I’m always afraid of getting a fakeGlad you found your bottle to your liking. Although I have a very old bottle of GIT, all releases including the most recent bottles and iterations are just fine IMO.

Probably could've asked that in one post. Ebay would be a starting point although one must be cautious and have patience.Where did you find your older bottle? Have a reliable source?
In Paris when it first came out.Where did you get your old bottle? I’m always afraid of getting a fake
I bought a 2015 bottle from eBay from a seller with lots of good feedback selling fragrances particularly older Creeds over a long period of time.Know any reliable places to get older bottles?
I bought it eleven years ago. Sorry, can't help with a current source.Where did you find your older bottle? Have a reliable source?
Not true.I always thought that perfumes expire after 2 years and are no longer usable?
If it's anything like my 2011, it'll be excellent.Does anyone have any thoughts on GIT from 2011? I recently purchased it for $200 at an estate sale.
You made a good deal!Swapped my Bleu de Chanel Parfum for a 50ml of this. Very excited to own it again and plan on using it often

I own two bottles from 2011 both held up pretty well. 2011 was a good year for GIT.If it's anything like my 2011, it'll be excellent.
A job well done 🍺Swapped my Bleu de Chanel Parfum for a 50ml of this. Very excited to own it again and plan on using it often
Were you satisfied with those?I bought my last bottle at Nordstroms circa 2015/6. Before that at Neiman Marcus.
Maybe take a second or third look at it, you might think differently. How was the performance? I still consider the best days of GIT long gone. Most will remember that I am quite critical of modern GIT batches. Nonetheless, I tried a 2020 or 2022 batch (I couldn't see the label very clearly) - mostly out of boredom - and actually quite liked the result. A lot of the sour/saltiness in the composition is gone, but I can still recognise it as GIT.
Are GIT batches improving or is it just my imagination?
Thanks for this, @N.CAL Fragrance Reviewer. Sound advice. I've always held your opinions quite high, so I will definitely be giving it some proper thought and won't be making any rash decisions without trying it several timesMaybe take a second or third look at it, you might think differently. I’ve noticed people complain about current year Aventus and praising the batches from 2-3 years prior only to repeat the same cycle and start praising the same batches they were hating previously.I find most modern Creeds smell pretty good in isolation but once you try them side by side with an older bottle the difference is pretty clear.
Nothing to worry about Keep enjoying it.Hi everyone,
So I recently bought a 17y01 100 ML batch. However, the cap color on the top is not golden (as i have seen other 100ML bottlels to be), rather its black. other features like the scent itself or the bottle seem to be legit, except the cap color. I was wondering if that's a ok or should I be worried?
That's all that matters. As long as it smells good and performs decent, I’m happy.
