Who do ya'll think would pull of Amouage's Gold Man?
Who do ya'll think would pull of Amouage's Gold Man?
I think if I were your age, I'd be right there with you. But from my vantage point, he looks too much like a kid for me to be having lascivious thoughts about him! I also think he's got one of those faces that's going to get more handsome as it ages.
And you need to pick a scent for Timothée! (He looks like a Jean-Claude Ellena type to me.)
I am shocked --SHOCKED, I say!-- that in a thread about beefcake we haven't seen Mr. Beefcake Himself, Jason Momoa.
I'm right there with you. As much as I like him as an actor (as well as Guadagnino as a director), and as much as I love the book, I haven't been able to watch Call Me By Your Name, because he looks about 13 in that movie.
Ellena does sound right up his alley. But, I must say, he's very fashion forward, so I also see him wearing something niche and unexpected --like something from Nicolai, Rogue Perfumery, or Histoires de Parfums --1725, perhaps?
…he seems like sort of a 21st century version of Fabio.
How about Elvis.....err....Austin Butler? I saw him on James Corden the other night and he's definitely an impressive looking guy....as is his speaking/singling voice. He's getting many accolades for his job on "becoming" Elvis, and the new movie seems to be zooming to number 1.
Yes, I was just reading that he got into it so much that he made himself sick and was hospitalized when the movie finished. Family members said they noticed that even his usual speaking voice changed....but on the point of Butler “becoming Elvis,” I have to agree with the accolades: he’s uncanny. (And he absolutely had to be for it to work at all.)
Fair, but I'd say that the fashion forward move of many niche houses is precisely to go retro. Make of that what you will.Nicolai and especially Rogue are vintage-style niche, as opposed to youthful/modernist lines, so I don’t really see those or Hdp as necessarily fitting Chalamet. Something edgier and/or more deliberately gender neutral might be better, but that’s not my bailiwick, so I couldn’t get more specific.
Taika Waititi is a comic genius. He and Richard Ayoade just never seem to miss, somehow.
Perhaps sadly, I think he (Mr. Waititi) would be an aquatic musk guy. Not like overdoing it but still. Archipelago Botanicals Marine.
Tamino. With an Oud.
Tamino Amir Moharam Fouad. (Belgian with Egyptian roots.) Singer and musician, really one Euphoria soundtrack away from going nuclear-famous. I love his music, but his features are very simp-worthy.Tell us more about who he is!

Our boy’s been busy, check out his new stuff, if you haven’t yet. *Insert cliched remark about maturing wine etc* 😙Goodness this reminded me to listen to the Habibi song from a few years back. Woah so beautiful.
You're so right - I needed to see this!Oh my. He is a rather lovely creature. Your photo didn't really do him justice. I'm posting this one because I think @ClockworkAlice needs to see it.
Such soulful eyes.

Come des Garçons is actually a good choice, I think he wears Ann Demeulemeester clothes, so something edgy, but well done is 👌You're so right - I needed to see this!
I would scent him in Narciso Rodriguez For Him or maybe in some incense - maybe Jaisalmer by Comme de Garcons or Incense City by Allsaints.

This man and the word “beefcake” somehow don’t belong in the same sentence
Definitely not. Pretty, but no beef to be found.
We're very broad-minded around here about what constitutes "beef".![]()
I thought I'd read the whole thread, before adding my 2 cents... I think of Momoa wearing leather too, in my mind. Perhaps a leather frag by Memo.I am shocked --SHOCKED, I say!-- that in a thread about beefcake we haven't seen Mr. Beefcake Himself, Jason Momoa.

Apparently, his favorite fragrance is Davidoff Cool Water, which is kind of predictable for an outdoorsy islander. But I see him in a slightly raunchy leather fragrance. Ombre Leather, perhaps?
Sorry for the confusion, I meant the few songs that are floating about, the rest comes out in September.@metanoia Off topic I guess but where are you hearing the new Tamino album? There are only 2 songs available on youtube music and he's not on Bandcamp. I haven't managed to actually hear the record yet, the 2 songs are very good though.
He's dreamy, and now I want to watch that movie. (Though of course I'll watch anything with Emma Thompson in it!)It's very early in his career to make the call, but I'm ready to declare Daryl McCormack the most appealing thing to come out of Ireland since high-fat butter. Take a look at this scene from Good Luck to You, Leo Grande where he entices Emma Thompson to dance with him and see if you don't agree.
His debut in that movie is phenomenal (as is the film itself), and he's also very good in the new British murder comedy series Bad Sisters. He's not even 30 years old yet and I'm quite smitten with him.

But --what about his scent?
I could’ve put Emma Thompson in the “celebrity crush” thread. She’s on the Hall Pass list.
Nice list!Omar Sharif, the pools of his eyes - Amouage Jubilation 25 man
Jason Momoa, the very toned - cool water - works..
Chris Noth, Mr. Big - Hermes - Habit Rouge
Taika Waititi, the well curated - Le Male
Tamino, soulful - molecule 01
Austin Butler - incredibly classy and poised, good inside and out - Fragrance Du Bois - London Spice
A~~
If you haven't seen the Leo Grande movie, you should. You'll love her even more.

Oh yes yes yes. Even as a straight woman, I find her so crush-worthy. So funny, so smart, so talented. There should be statues put up to her all over Britain. If you haven't seen the Leo Grande movie, you should. You'll love her even more.
