Good news!Neglectable. He only declares 10 pounds or so. Ordered many times, no issues. Which got me thinking. That Chevald D'Arabie.....
You can, but don't count on itGood news!

If I understand correctly, at every purchase I can ask for 3 samples. Is that right?
Yeah, I noticed that. You can, but don't count on it))))). I've asked him for samples every time but he, either sent something totally different or didn't send any. So far, after several purchases, still didn't get to try the ones that I wanted. He's a great person and perfumer, but very disorganized.
Dear Ashfaque,Hello everyone,
A message from Sultan.
Unfortunately, Sultan has been ill for weeks. Hence some of the patrons have not received their orders yet. He was working with ill health. But now, he's too ill at the moment. He kindly requested his loving, and patient patrons to allow him some time to recoup. As soon as he's recovered enough, he will resume processing those orders.
I am posting this missive on his behalf so that respected patrons are aware of it.
Regards,
Ashfaque
Hi David,Dear Ashfaque,
do you know anything new about the Sultan and his state of health? I placed a larger order at the end of October and so far haven't received anything. The last status of December 11th is a tracking number from Royal Mail. Since then, Royal Mail Track and Trace has been putting me off by saying that I should try again tomorrow ("Sorry, we're currently unable to confirm the status of your item"). For me, this means that either the tracking number has been created but the package has not yet been scanned at the post office or the tracking number is incorrect.
Has anyone else ordered the problem or a shipment that has not yet arrived?
Thank you very much. 🙏Hi David,
I have informed Sultan about it.
Sultan got in touch with me, there was an error with a letter. My mail is already at customs in Germany, maybe it will arrive before Christmas (that's how it was planned), but it could be scarce.Hi David,

That's great news -- hope it makes it before the holiday for you!Sultan got in touch with me, there was an error with a letter. My mail is already at customs in Germany, maybe it will arrive before Christmas (that's how it was planned), but it could be scarce.
I thank you again very much for your support. And also many thanks to Sultan for the answer.
1. Welcome! So glad you’re having fun with Sultan. His stuff is so good.hello SP fans! im trying to make a decision on placing a big order and wanted to request advice as well as opinions on a few items.
I like blind buying from him as I already know I love him and most of what he does. From what ive tried the greatest love is rose basmati, it is the most soothing incredible scent. I loved tabac grande, or just below a love- it is a bit sweet and a bit more linear/slightly less complex than his other works. I also nearly loved oud deuce amer, so complex and intriguing note quite as good as BR but its a very fun composition though im not sure I see myself wearing it super often. I really didn't like Thebes grade 2, it was too iris-y and just really not something I enjoyed. im curious about irisoir but im a bit turned off/scared that perhaps I just dont like his iris note. I did not love cheval- this to me was.. too horsey. he did such a great job creating a photorealistic smokey horse but I dont wanna smell like a horse. I love animalics and I dont find it too musky, that composition is amazing, just not one I'd want to wear. so im wondering for my first question which composition would you say is the most animalic aside from CdA?
my next question is between tabacaurm, Aurum D'Angkhor, and juriah.. on which to choose here. I'm leaning away from tabacaurum as it sounds a bit too sweet to my taste and just slightly more interested in the other two. I've read juriah is quite animalic which really gets me excited, but id be curious between the two if anyone has any thoughts. I've seen ADA as more of a holy grail for many people and I dont see juriah getting the same amount of love. I'm also really interested in getting ame sombre and was wondering if there is any overlap in the composition or if anyone thinks it may be a bit redundant to own both.
truffles! has anyone tried but the truffe's and if so could they please provide descriptions of the two side by side? seems like there isn't a ton of info on that.
also final one which I would be curious on.. favorite Chypre by sultan?
thanks all and hopefully this wasn't too many questions!
Thx @naylorThat's great news -- hope it makes it before the holiday for you!
I'm not surprised that he sends out those attars that are not named yet as they're still at experimental stages. I'll ask Sultan about those. In the mean time, please describe them for us. Don't forget to send him your feedbacks. As I said before, you'll be indirectly helping us. I have not bought anything from that generous attar nerd for a while. This photos is giving me more incentives to do so, even though I bought quite a lot of oud oils and chips recently. 😁Thx @naylor
@Ashfaque
I was able to get my mail from the post office today. Actually it would have been delivered straight to Christmas Eve, which would have been perfect, but thanks to customs it didn't come out until today. Incidentally, that was the ultimate test for customs. I had eleven bottles in the package, Sultan declared it as aromatic oils and there were no complaints; in the end I paid a good 7 € customs. Thanks a lot for this. 🙏🙏
There were also two full bottles in the package without my knowing what was inside. I applied one of the oils straight away ... and have been enjoying a great scent for about four hours. In the meantime it has withdrawn a little, but it keeps flashing from time to time.
This package is further evidence of Sultan's generosity. In the end, everything always goes well and it's always overwhelming once the order has arrived. For me it took almost exactly eight weeks from order to delivery. All in all a bit long, but as always definitely worth the wait.
Thank you for your friendly and helpful answer. I'll be happy to try to give a feedback ... beforehand: I might go wrong, but in my opinion both bottles contain the same oil. I did a test this morning, the bottle with the red stone on the left, the one with the blue stone on the right.I'm not surprised that he sends out those attars that are not named yet as they're still at experimental stages. PS: What are those 9?
I'm very glad they've arrived and that you're enjoying them. Very generous indeed for him to include the extras. Sultan said it's his own take on shamama attar - still at experimental stage.Thank you for your friendly and helpful answer. The first 15 minutes are a frenzy of heavy animalic notes with a very strong, room-floating sillage. My wife doesn't like it at all, but my daughter (7 years old) and I love this phase of the fragrance. I'm very bad at picking out scent notes, but I would say there is a lot of strict oud in it (Indian, Bangladeshi, etc.) as well as other typical animalic notes that Sultan likes to use combined with a hind of citrusy, spicy and floral notes. In comparison to that phase of the scent Cheval is almost a tame pony.
Unlike last evening, I didn't dab the oil after applying it, but instead left a wide swipe on the skin so that the oil could soak into it. As a result, the sillage lasted almost two hours at a clearly perceptible level. Now, after a good four hours, it is again a scent that is close to the skin. It is now pleasantly spicy, although the animal hurricane can still be felt in the distance.
All I can say is that I love it, espacially the first hour.
PS: I got Ensar Rose, Poudre Noir, Tabacaurum, Mielfleur (x2), Chypre Narcisse and Encens Chypre. Also I got backup-bottles of Cuir de Russie (the attar my wife loves on me the most) and Fougere Noire.
I never thought of that —07738 having a shamama scent— but I definitely know what you mean in the base and heart!Sultan said it's his own take on shamama attar - still at experimental stage.
Update: Thank you for sharing your experience. You had me at ''animal hurricane"!
Completely off topic: I find Antonio's Bello (0,7738) has a shamama like smell - albeit with lots of balsams, resins and florals in Bogue style.
Wow, Cheval d'Arabie is already very loud on me. I'm seriously tempted but my wallet hasn't stopped weeping for over a yearLast week, I briefly sniffed Hindi Oud Nasha from the bottle only. It is like the big and loud oudy sibling of already boisterous Cheval D'Arabie. My wallet is already weeping!
most likely being sold alongside the attars as another option but we will see when its outAre the perfumes replacing the attars ?
Remarkably, I've yet to try anything from Sultan Pasha. As much as I love attars, spray parfums are more appealing to me, so I'm glad he's making this move.
Man they are powerful, for most of them, all I need is a drop for a full spectrum experience.Remarkably, I've yet to try anything from Sultan Pasha. As much as I love attars, spray parfums are more appealing to me, so I'm glad he's making this move.
Same here, actually. I've been looking forward to these...Remarkably, I've yet to try anything from Sultan Pasha. As much as I love attars, spray parfums are more appealing to me, so I'm glad he's making this move.
Thank youDewaniya will be back soon.
Waiting for Thebes grade 2 to returnI need three more from Sultan.
I'm eyeing L'Heure D'or, because Civet and Florals, daaaahhhh,
Ame Sombre, because I keep hearing good things about it,
But the one that I am looking forward to getting the most is Cheval D'Arabie.
Planning on going for 1 grammers and if any of them hits me really hard (looking at you Cheval), I might need to upgrade.
So far I got full bottles and have 0 regrets, I absolutely love all of them. I kinda actually regret getting 3 grams of Aurum D'Angkhor because I'll never use the whole bottle, it's so ridiculously strong that even though it is probably my most worn attar, I have barely used 0.1 grams of it. LOOOOOOL.
I think Thebes 2 is still available.Waiting for Thebes grade 2 to return
