Silver Mountain Water by Creed (1995)

Unfortunately, I don't have a sample to revisit. My comments are from my review in the BN directory, based on a shop sniff as I remember.
Inspired by the exhilarating crispness of mountain air and the purity of cascading alpine streams…” (Creed site). I find this to be a cool, even frosty scent. Citrus and green tea in the opening, lots of green tea. The blackcurrant buds give another green note. For me this scent is all surface, showing glittering sparkles but having no depth. Indeed, I find it tiresome after a breathing air from a freezer. A much nicer cool-frosty (with conifer) scent is Blenheim Bouquet.
The tea note was prominent. A nicer tea note scent in my opinion is Bulgari pour Homme.
Top Notes: Bergamot, Mandarin
Heart Notes: Green tea, Blackcurrant
Base notes: Galbanum, Musk, Sandalwood, Petitgrain

Yeah, my one complaint with Silver Mountain Water is that the green tea note overpowers everything else for me. In time I want to scrub it off, which isn't how a fragrance should make you feel. So...I want a bottle of Green Valley!!! Wish I could find one...
