Roja Dove Reckless Pour Homme and Roja Dove's Goodmans

Has anyone tried either of these scents? If so then what'd you think of it? Can you describe it for me.

I have tried the former. I found it to have a pleasant citrusy opening and a very nice woody-spicy dry down (cinnamon and clove mixed with what smelled like cedar). Longevity on my skin was very good. For me not FBW, but nice. Haven't tried the latter yet.

I've tried Reckless. To me it's a better version of Clive Christian X

I have tried Reckless PH. I've only worn it a few times, but I must admit I'm having a hard time with it and find it a difficult scent to describe. It's dry spicy woods with a very deep rich floral presence up front (rose and lavender I mostly detect). I don't get much wormwood, although I wish I did. It's blended well though.

You may not find it to be better, but they are similar. I just prefer Roja's style over Geza's

Agreed. It is very much in the same vein as X, but they are not kissing cousins, but distant relatives.

Reckless is very nice. Now Goodmans, for me this was a bit of a disappointment. I really expected more from it, given the notes. My understanding, BG requested Roja to tune it down a bit from the original concept.

While not a true judge, look at the picture of the bottle online, notice how dark the juice is, where in real life, it is much lighter. Leads me to believe something changed along the way.

Reckless is a nice scent with a nice incense note. I wish Roja would do an over the top intense incense based scent.

I do not remember the specifics of Goodman's, though I did smell it while at Bergdorf last month. That itself should be a hint as to its... mediocrity? Fetish PH, Enigma PH, Reckless PH, Diaglehiv, and Scandal pour femme were all much more memorable. In fact Bergdorf pour femme was more interesting to me than the mans version
