Hello everyone,

Kunal here. A fellow frag head hailing from India. By profession I'm a Software Engineer. It's not been long enough that I've started my fragrance journey. But with every passing day I'm learning a lot from various forums, youtube videos etc. Being an Indian, I'm exposed to lot of holy grail raw materials which are widely exported outside to be used in perfumes like Mysore Sandalwood, Vetiver, Hindi Oud, Damascena Rose, Indian Patchouli, variety of other florals like Jasmine, Tuberose etc. We as Indians are fortunate enough to be experiencing these materials in their purest forms i.e. Essential Oils which we call as 'Ruh' (Urdu word which literally translates to 'Soul') even today. Ruh Khus (Vetiver), Ruh Gulab (Rose), Ruh Motia (Jasmine), Ruh Rajnigandha (Tuberose), Ruh Mehndi (Lawsonia Inermis), Shamama, etc are some of the widely regarded materials from India. All in all there is so much that I'vm willing to share here and also experience from others. Can't wait!

Although I learn towards natural perfumes and majorly oils (attars), I do have special place in my hearts for classic, old school style perfumes like Guerlain Vetiver, Habit Rouge, Drakkar Noir, Brut Classic, Tabac, Azzaro Pour Homme, etc. I do love wearing and owning them.

In the past couple of years, I've also collected a lot of Oud oils majorly Hindi Ouds from commercial brands to small scale artisans etc. Agarwood Assam, Assam Aromas, LuckyOud are some of my favourite artisanal oud distillers. With every passing day my love and respect towards agarwood is only getting higher.
