This has a rich, spicy-wood note. It is not green, despite the green-oriented top notes. In fact, I don't really detect those. On my skin, it immediately goes to the middle and base notes. This is often the case. The scent verges on sweetness without quite going there, but it definitely is what I would call rich and substantial. The wood is probably cedar. It is a pleasant and cozy scent, a little richer than I like but still good. I have two samples, and the second is a little drier and more resinous. So, there may be some batch variation or age issues. As usual, it pays to try it before you buy it.
