Pino Silvestre - Grand Classic vs Newer version(s) and Pino Silvestre Flankers ?

I am familiar with the original version which is one of my top five fragrances. Definitely my comfort fragrance no 1.
In my early days it would help me through the bitter cold Berlin winters. A spray on my sweater lasted days/weeks !
I did not realise this one has been reformulated and possibly now discontinued (?).
So, how does the classic compare to the latest version ?
...are their ways to tell from packaging and bottle ?

Thanks for your help !

ps, what are your favourites from the flankers ?

I have the Pine Gems Essence version and occasionally prefer it over the original, but only when lavender particularly is floating my boat (which it does not do very often). Otherwise, I prefer the rougher, more herbal edges of the original.
Is this produced by Pino Silvestre ?
I can't find it on any directories.

Still considering Original the best, including in its current version-while the vintage remains great, the current one is not far behind.
Also did like just enough to recommend particularly the Soffio di Talco and the (so far only available as various, perfumed toiletries but oddly not as fragrance yet) Muschio Bianco.

I have the Original and five flankers.
I've grown very fond of Perfect Gentleman (smells nothing like the Original).
Oud Absolute is pretty good, but doesn't project as much as I'd like it to.

Aqua Di Pino Fougere I don't think of as a flanker - because it doesn't have the pine-cone shaped bottle - but it has monster longevity and power output.
Cheers,
Renato

I just checked out my other flankers.
Underwood is my favourite.
Rainforest is okay, but Muschi di Boscho goes lame too quickly on me.
Cheers,
Renato
I don't know the ones you mention except for Muschi (very rude word in german !) di Boscho. I actually really like this one. There's a lily of the valley note I pick up and love. I'm not aware of the longevity problem so far. I will try it again.
I have tried the Talco and Cotone and love both of them.

Shame you can't check out the other two of mine which I think are better than Muschi Di Bosco.
I'll have a look and see if Talco and Cotone is floating around here somewhere down here, thanks.
Cheers,
Renato
