Outdoor trick: how to smell the perfume even with strong winds

I almost always spray myself before going out, but unfortunately, I don't really smell the perfume anymore once i'm outside walking (wind, etc), unless the wind is favorable

But I found a trick today that works very well.

When I spray myself, I put perfume on the sides of my neck and on my left arm and ONE spray on the back of my hand to smell it up close if I need to.

What you just have to do is : once outside, you touch the tip of your nose with the back of your hand where you sprayed the perfume : a little bit of perfume with stick to your nose and you will smell what you smell to others even with strong winds, it works flawlessy I was surprised

and if you don't smell anymore after a few minutes, then touch your nose again with the back of your hand and you'll smell the perfume very well

I don't need it though as I prefer 12 sprays to the forehead and some of it drips down to my nose.

Just wondering if there's anybody else who sprays in different places to normal people, my girlfriend finds it strange as I typically mix my fragrances and always use 5 sprays of Aventus to my forehead, I have got many compliments using this technique, only draw back is you have to spray it 10...

That is insane.

I can't imagine standing there in front of my dresser where my fragrances are, choosing a fragrance, and then blasting myself in the forehead five times with it.....

Wow!

I mean you can't even open your eyes back up to put the fragrance down, if you even had the foresight to close them in the first place. But let's say you did, then you have to let the fragrance dissipate before you open your eyes so you can see to do anything else, and you also have to make sure it doesn't drip down into your eyes considering that your eyes are below your forehead and all.....

Thanks for posting the link, I think I've read that thread about a dozen times at this stage and it's always hilarious! When he talks about trying to apply the fragrance to his forehead directly from the flacon I just lose it! 🤣

While admitting to not have tested this yet, already enjoying to take long walks and, of course, to wear fragrances (often both simultaneously) this application technique is indeed worth further considering and trying out.

I actually spray INSIDE my nose and it smells very strongly lol

"I usually pair Aventus and Tobacco Vanille as they actually work very well in this hot heat, I am a bit of an oversprayer as I tend to go for a minimum of 13 sprays and sometimes 2"

I've been wearing non-surgical masks outside again, due to the amount of smoke and ash floating around in the air. I often add one spray the corner of the mask, so I can smell something pleasant when I'm outside, instead of the pervasive odour of burning boreal forest.
