About me and why I Joined, I am new to fragrance crafting. All I know is I know nothing! I have done some test batches, two out of the ten I've made so far got compliments. I'm assuming after finding this forum, that my mistake is using essential oils for my notes and not including any sythetic boosters. I would love to learn from all of your experiences, and improve my skills. I made a blend of fragrances, that got me tons of compliments, which is what turned me on to making my own fragrances. Since that original mixture (Savauge mixed with Inner Relm) I have began to aquire Essential oils, I spent my monthly budget on nothing but them, and 90% of my mixtures smell like the kind of perfume grandma finds at goodwill. So I am really wanting to focus on learning, since I don't have it in my budget this month to aquire more ingredients and it seems that certian synthetics are almost required as "boosters" for example Iso e Super. Feel free to ask me anything, I look forward to being in your community and I hope you all will welcome me!
Update: I have read the basics, and it seems that I am off on the right track. If you read this far. Share with me your first formula and I will share mine:

Sage (5%)
Middle notes (50%):

Rose (15%)
Base notes (30%):

Sandalwood (10%)
