Hello, fellow nerdettes and nerds!

November will start in Tuesday, but I'll stick with today's scent for tomorrow, too, so my stats are ready, and they look like this:

7 Papyrus de Ciane
6 (Divine) Bergamote
5 L’Air de Rien
4 Chypre (Patyka)
3 Ambra Nera, Bergamotto, Fico d’India, Melograno, Zagara
2 Castile

I chose Papyrus de Ciane for my scent for a trip to Siracusa, Sicilia, the darkness back home made me crave for sunny citruses, Bergamote and Castile fit the bill. Patyka Chypre is a long-time autumn staple, L'Air de Rien a trusty comfort scent.
I didn't perfume shop in Siracusa, but nabbed Ortigia Sicilia Zagara perfume oil at the Catania airport, and liked it so much I got four more oils from their webshop, all wonderful.

What did you wear in October?

My October started of cool but then gradually got warmer and it's always 10+ C these days, so I'm still mostly staying off my cool weather scents yet, instead opting for the more transitional weather ones. (Although yesterday I was craving for Opium and wore it! But one evening of Opium doesn't make a winter yet) Also I haven't been feeling my best this month (no worries, nothing serious), and when I'm not on my best mood or health, there's just nothing as helpful as citrus - so I wore quite a lot of citrus for October, too.

Are you interested in collective October picks for our dear nerdettes? Here they are!

The nerdettes are back to classics and modern classics with power! The deeper, spicier, cosier, bolder, more incensy scents are taking the front rows. But there's always some Apres L'Ondee for that mild, wistful and rainy day...

I can gladly say I contributed to the October stats with Opium, Le baiser du Dragon, Narciso and Parfum Sacre myself...

5 x Symmetry

4 x Dojima

2 x Samsara, Roma, Cadjmere 18 & Ghost

1 x DK Gold, Sundowner, Ashoka, Pistachio lce Cream, Stoned, Au Coeur du Desert, Un Matin d'Orage, Obscuratio, Narciso, Encens Flamboyant, Chasing Autumn & Like This.

Total worn: 19. House of the month: Lucy B, because l'm trying to make a dent in my bottle. l'm still working on finishing some samples, as well. There hasn't been much in the way of cold weather heavy hitters, because it's still unusually warm here, so l've mostly gone for what l consider transitional fragrances to ease me into autumn. 🍁🍂

I agree with this sentiment and hope you’re feeling your best again soon.
