Is the "Extra" just the fancy plaque on the bottle, or is there a difference in the fragrance itself?

No, there's a heavy metal cap too 😂

But in seriousness, it's a stronger concentration of the EDT and, so far, well worth the small amount of extra money on the EDT.

I probably have olfacgtory associations with this scent, it came out in 1973 when I was 3 years old - probably some of the men in my family wore this. Do you remember when Aramis would have those Gift With Purchase umbrellas that you would get, with the Aramis logo and colors, if you bought a fragrance? Now I want an Aramis 900 umbrella! Lol
