Jousset Parfums Find Me in the Dark. Wow. This is the exact smell that you will smell if you are out in the forest moving moss covered decaying logs in the hunt for salamanders or insects as I did as a kid (or digging in moss covered dirt patches to plant a flower garden). Jousset Parfums has some interesting creations but I always seem to have problems with dysfunctional sprayers that take away from my appreciation of their creations.

My SOTN is HdP 1725 Casanova

This wearing is not from my bottle but a sample sent in a nice care package from one of our members, and is of recent stock. They’ve tweaked this and brought the citrus far more prominent and more lasting. I’ll need to do a side by side but it seems: the opening is appreciably more citrus forward, the mid is relatively the same, and the basenotes are softer. I guess they tried to make it more mass appealing? I still enjoy the fragrance but it feels lighter and less present.
