From a personal viewpoint alone, (re) seconding again both Elite and No. 89 as quite for safe classic style blind buy options.

While also personally considering from the very same Floris house at the very least Cefiro, Sandalwood, No. 127 and/or Limes at the very least from some intensive, extended testing if not even a downright blind buy.

Smells like a used, but cold tobacco pipe. Resinous. It's definitely a niche scent, but still pleasing. Invokes memories of when I was 6 years old and I smelled the cold tobacco pipe my Dad had in his office on his desk in the 1970's. I would like this scent added to the fragrance directory. I filled out the form.

I'm interested in finding a lime-forward cologne, but EVERY review I read states it doesn't last. (From experience, Royall Lyme is like that: smells great, terrible performance.)

Floris Sandalwood is, sadly, long-discontinued. Perhaps you mean Santal.

Floris Limes and Summer Limes are excellent fragrances... and short-lived. Find 'em, buy 'em, (over)spray 'em, and use 'em up [lather, rinse, repeat].
