I got through a bottle of this pre-hobby and enjoyed it immensely. Year 2000 if my memory is accurate. When I tried it again many years later, it seemed markedly different - so, either reformulation, or an issue with my memory. Could easily be either one! How do you find it to have held up over the longer term?

Creed Feuilles Vertes

One of the best Creeds in the tradition of high quality, old line French perfumery. Yes, green leaves, with a stunning jasmine base. Best worn for personal enjoyment, it’s a little too quirky for office or social wear. You’ll love it, but your friends might wonder why you smell strongly of heavenly fresh botanicals.

I wonder, did the chances of us ever seeing these old, more obscure Creeds reappear again vanish for good with the Blackrock takeover...?

Excellent!

I wouldn't remember anything detailed enough about it from back then - however any iteration I've experienced - extremely enjoyable! Honestly it's one that is "solid" - and I've never dived in detail - you know the ones - just smells good, no performance issues, pleasing to me and those around, didn't warrant too much thinking ( i guess a no-brainer easy reach) - almost forget about it !!

Roja Parfums Musk Aoud Absolue Precieux. Ambrette seed musk (from the Hibiscus plant) is the botantical substitute for deer musk and, although I understand and appreciate the need for vegan alternatives in large scale perfumery to protect animal species, this seed musk does not give me the same olfactory and cerebral effects as animal musk. Even though this perfume is quite nice in the cold weather, it does not last long (4 - 6 hours) on my skin and costs $1000USD for 30ml. There is an old saying " Fools and their money soon part", and I have come to the conclusion that there are many fools like myself who have greatly contributed to Roja's wealth fund. It will be interesting to see if there is a long line of fools behind me who still want to continue to part with their money and give it to Roja in the future.

Wow was my first impression of this scent. Its the first one I have tried that smells totally unique. Reminds me of the smell of those New Age shops that were popular in the Nineties. You know the ones that sold tarot cards and always smelled of sweet incense. Well even though incense is not listed, thats what I'm getting. Really enchanting opening.
