Those are some interesting notes - I am curious to hear how it smells!

Congratulations - I didn't realize Mancera had made that many already. They have been quite busy over there it seems.

Whoa!! 80 Manceras!!! o_O Congrats hednic!

This one looks and sounds great - I had to look up 'Spindrift' and it's apparently "the spray blown from cresting waves during a gale."

Along with iodine and sea salt notes this could take whole aquatic/marine theme to another level...!

I look forward to hearing your thoughts when it arrives.

Hopefully this will be in my hands by Saturday.
Hey hednic:) did you receive French Riviera yet? I got some questions about the fragrance since its a new release and there are no reviews on it.

-How prominent are the Sea Spray and Salt notes? (Looking for a salty summer frag. thats why I ask)

-How are the Florals? are they sublte or very ´´loud`` ?

-I know its unisex, but in wich direction do you see it going?

-Whats the Drydown smelling like?

Yes, received it a while back. The salt and marine notes are evident but not prominent IMO. Florals are subtle to me and for me it leans a bit masculine, but slightly.

This is my first post. Gradually falling down the fragrance rabbit hole! I just received a sample of this with instant crush. I get orange citrus, salt and marine notes! Gotta say it’s a winner!

Mancera has 80?

I've been meaning to ask you about a "hit list" of Montales and Manceras if you'd take the time.

I picked up Aoud Cuir d'Arabie, have Black Aoud, own Cedrat Boise from Mancera, and have Mancera Aoud Violet in my sights.

Excluding the discontinued ones or super-limited ones I can't possibly get (like Sumac Spice), what Montales and Manceras you'd recommend?

Can shoot me a PM if you don't want to junk up the thread with a long reply.

If you do get a chance to try it, please don't forget to share your thoughts and impressions.
Will do.
Hednic, I think I know your answer, but would you suggest this as a better alternative to ADG EDP?
I want a fresh, sophisticated, scent that lasts but doesn't dry down to the typical musky amber blandness like so many blue frags do and isn't just another blue fragrance.
I appreciate they don't smell the same but could both fill the same place in a small collection and in that case which would you choose (if you could only have one). could this be a far better option than ADG or are they so different as to make this question pointless?
I like the mineral and salty marine aspects of ADG EDP, as well as the slightly aromatic vibe, but it may lean a little too sour for some situations. However, I think ADG EDP is quiet versatile and could be worn most seasons, day or night.
Is French Riviera more or at least as versatile, or is it a purely summer daytime fragrance?
How does it (if it does) compare to other freshies I’m considering such as TDH Eau Givree or BDC EDP?
Sorry to ask so many questions and I may get a sample but for now I appreciate anything you can tell me to help compare them,

I wouldn't say it's a better alternative, just different. Your best bet is getting a sample before considering investing in a bottle.
