Is Tauer ACDD a manly perfume?

Long story short - had LDDM, bottle spent a few months ago. Was pretty keen on getting ACDD now after testing, but it seems there is a general internet opinion that it's more on the masculine side than LDDM.
It actually seemed quite the opposite to me, while wearing LDDM, sometimes I would get a masculine vibe, while ACDD seemed softer too me.

I know that fragrance is subjective, but I use a lot of unisex that lean on the "masculine" side, and maybe I'd like a complete "unisex" one now. :D

Opinions, please?

Well, it seemed that way to me also, that's why I was surprised to read reviews telling it's masculine. Even Luca Turin put it in "best new masculine" categoy.

I don’t find either of these 2 fragrances to lean one way or the other, and i certainly don’t think they differ in directions.

I guess I would say whatever way someone thinks LDDM leans, ACCD leans the same.

Also- who cares? If you like it, wear it!

I think it's a bougie niche, meaning it's more unisex than anything else. It leans masculine to a woman's nose, but the opulence will come across as feminine to a lot of men. Overall though, it's not a difficult wear for either on the basis of how masculine or feminine it is; the real sticking point is how oriental it is. It's not exactly the most wearable fragrance going. I'm just not sure who/where/when it would be suitable. Dare I say it could come across as something of an aromatic fedora: great in theory, but...

Don't let that put you off trying it ofc. 🤣

Ha ha, an aromatic fedora!
Could agree with this. I see your point, wearing LADDM did feel this way a bit, but it's so darn special and evocative, I've been sniffing my empty bottle a lot lately, I realized I'm missing it.

Thanks everyone!
You have convinced me that ACDD is a totally unisex scent. Felt that way for me too.
I don't have a problem with wearing masculine scents, but most of my wardrobe is unisex leaning to masculine, I got tired of it a bit.

Whomever likes it may wear it. Male or female is no matter. And the perfect time to wear it is whenever you feel like wearing it. I personally show consideration when in any situation where I believe a fragrance need be discreet. Otherwise, wear what you want and when you want. Perceptions are different and what’s unwearable in public for me will be completely wearable for another or the opposite. The beauty of fragrant art is that we would both be correct.
