If You Like X You'll Love Y Chain Game!

Maybe I'm just bored on a Sunday morning, but I had this idea to start a chain of recommendations completed by the next poster. I always take note in list threads when someone lists a bunch of fragrances I like and one I've never tried that I should check that out, so I thought this could be a fun way to create lists like that.

I propose 3 ways to participate:
1. Add a link: add the next fragrance you think someone would like if they like the last fragrance in the link, let's number each chain to keep them separate and copy the whole chain when you add yours. Would also be interesting to read some explanation why you chose that fragrance. The connection can be anything you'd like, same fragrance family, similar notes, similar texture, similar vibe, a modern version of the older fragrance, an older version of the modern fragrance, or any other connection you find.

2. Start a new chain: start your own new chain with "If you like X you'll love Y". Number your chain to keep them separate and easy to see which chain subsequent posters are adding to.

3. Give feedback on a chain: it could be interesting to know as a chain grows if any user has all the fragrances in a chain and does indeed like them! A nice idea might be to cap each chain at 10 fragrances and keep a list of them in this original post, so people can give feedback on how they turned out.

I'll start two!
1. Aesop Hwyl -> Frederic Malle French Lover (both green fresh woody things)
2. Hermes Eau d'Hermes -> Hermes Epice Marine (transparent fresh spicy texture)

Let's keep this format, list the previous chain and make your addition then follow with explanation to keep things easy to follow.
So the next post might look like:

1. Aesop Hwyl -> Frederic Malle French Lover -> Cool Water (another Bourdon take on freshness)

2. Hermes Eau d'Hermes -> Hermes Epice Marine -> Terre d'Hermès Eau Givrée (transparent fresh spicy texture)

I was just thinking how the flow of TdH out of EdH was very clear in the new Givrée flanker. But I can see the lineage passing through Epice Marine as well - particularly by your characterization (transparent fresh spicy texture).

I quite like Eau Givree as well! Well, since no one else is playing, I'll continue the ginger streak:

2. Hermes Eau d'Hermes -> Hermes Epice Marine -> Terre d'Hermès Eau Givrée -> Mizensir Eau de Gingembre

Probably over priced for what it is, but I got a sample from a nice SA and it's a lovely uplifting zesty ginger with a musky neroli/petitgrain base.

Trying to start a very first chain-though somehow related to previous posts-if you like Her,es TDH, you might love apart from the TDH flankers released so far, also in no further particular order:
Yves Rocher Cuir Vetiver, Zara Norrland EDP, l'Erbolario Ginepro Nero EDP (also quite suitable if you happen to like darker, earthy resinous fougeres like Drakkar Noir, Lomani, Duc de Vervins plus l'Extreme flanker, Floris Elite), Yardley Citrus & Wood (also great for vintage Givenchy Gentleman fans), even Mugler Cologne to certain extents.
