I like Aquaman. Anyone else? Anything similar?

Rochas Aquaman was a blind buy. I really am enjoying it. Surprise, surprise. It is rather unique in that I don’t enjoy many scents heavy in “marine” notes. But this is super nice.

Not sure what other fragrances are similar…do you know any? Do you enjoy this one?

Aquaman was one of my first scents ever, and sadly, I dropped the bottle and it shattered.

I recall liking it, but that was maaaany years ago now, so the details are a little hazy. But it seemed as much aromatic green and spicy as aquatic.

First thing that comes to mind is 1828 Jules Verne by Histories de Parfums. Smooth rendition of a very similar note profile.

Also, even more on the aromatic side, Aramis New West

Based on the thread title, I so wanted to reply "Prince Namor, The Submariner"!
Yeah, I prefer Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy myself...:ROFLMAO:

Sorry...the title of the thread just made me smile as it just says...(I like Aquaman". Anyone else? Anything similar?) And, it was a perfect opportunity to tease my friend thrilledchilled a little bit.;)

Okay, based on you liking this fragrance, (thrilledchilled), I went ahead and grabbed a bottle. Been wearing it for about an hour so far and I'm still waiting for it to loose a little of the aquatic edge that I don't generally enjoy in aquatic fragrances.

Honestly, this is reminding me of Blue Sage, Lime, Fir Wood by Korres. There is a slight green here that is duking it out with the blue, but the blue is winning so far and I'm cheering for team green! Hopefully it calms into more of the green notes soon...

Probably my favorite aquatic I've tried so far is Blue Mark by Jack Black. It has water mint in it and I think it smooths the brash, salty notes that most every aquatic fragrances scream so loudly. If you enjoy them, then they are superior, because they tend to project like a nuclear winter. But if you want something with a slight aquatic presence that is balanced and smoothed out by other notes, I really enjoy Blue Mark.

I'll keep trying Aquaman for a while longer before I join team Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy though. 😊

Oh No! Now I’m nervous!

What happened in the end? We want to know how the story ends...

No problem...I've done enough blind buying to know the risks. :)

If I don't end up liking it, I can always help it to find a new home.(y)

Now, if you haven't smelled Blue Sage, Lime, Fir Wood by Korres, you should probably try to get a sample or something because I think it smells something like Aquaman and that was the question you asked at the first of this thread, for anything similar...

I bought it and love Blue Sage - thank you. You were spot on.
