A simple Yes or No vote. It will be interesting to see where Basenotes as a whole stands.

No need for discussion within this post as there's already a discussion post HERE.

Lovely juice! Nice grassy, mouthwatering opening that morphs into a soapy asparagus/cilantro middle which then leads into a deep and slightly sharp spicy/salty drydown that lasts for a couple of days. No foolin' :)

Am TOTALLY satisfied with my purchase (and I'm picky), and am looking forward to more ancillary products (shower gel, deo stick, after shave cream...).

Bring it on Dior!

I haven't tried it but I'd probably like it (I'm writing up a blog post on this subject), but that doesn't mean I would have any desire to own a bottle, except at a very low price, so that I could use it for a swap. Also, it might smell "nice" on someone else. I think the key question is, would I enjoy it over the course of at least 4-5 hours. The answer to that would almost certainly be no. I hardly ever wear these kinds of scents (mostly for that reason), and there's no question in my mind that Sauvage wouldn't include anything novel that would take it out of that category for me. However, I won't vote unless/until I try it.

Basenotes is divided.

For the record, I'm in the "NO" camp. Unfortunately.

Yes.

I don't mind being in the minority on this one. I'm wearing it (now) and I like it.

It's a large minority anyway, and liable to shift at any time, I think. So you have plenty of comrades.

Welcome to Basenotes! :D

I votes yes because I like it.

I like but don't love it and I think it is not worth the expensive retail price imo.

On the top it smelled pretty decent. Sorta had an Aventus vibe (vaguely) on the dry down it reminds me of a very very very simple and abstract version of Bombay Bling.

Now - generally speaking this is a pretty basic an generic perfume. Pretty good but boring imo.

Yes.

It apparently was meant to be a "crowd pleaser" so this is not likely a "minority position." Instead, a large percentage of the online aficionado community seems to have been expecting something quite different, a real savage, so to speak, but that may be reserved for the exclusive line of their scents. Enjoy it without hesitation !

Love the spicy citric opening. Repulsed by what to my nose is a unpleasant ambroxan+pepper core, which lacks the warmth and complexity of bleu's ginger/incense/grapefruit and friends vibe. I really wanted to like this one but it just isn't for me.

I enjoy wearing it. It's so easy to wear, albeit generic.

Like, I know I'm smelling good, but I also feel like I'm wearing a cheapie that others might perceive as a cheapie as well. So in that case, I'm a little self-conscious with it. But at least it smells ok.

There really doesn't seem to be any minority. I voted no, doesn't float my boat. Maybe in higher concentration. I like BdC EdP but not the EdT.

Neutral. I wouldn't mind wearing it, but I won't be seeking out a bottle. It belongs in the same camp as Gucci Guilty, Invictus, and Mont Blanc Legend, smell pleasant enough, but smells like bunch of other designer recent releases to warrant purchase

I like it, but it reminds me of Bleu a lot and to me, Bleu smells a lot better and it performs better on me. This fragrance is way too weak, any reformulations in the future will end up making it like D&G The Obe in terms of performance. It's nothing special and seems like they made it solely for the money and not to make anything actually worth the consumer's money, but it's okay.
