Thank you oudaddict. Yes, Parfums Vintage does pose a challenge. I thought I would add the most reviewed. I will revisit. Thank you for highlighting others. I will add them.

One question.. I considered a Roja Elysium but didn’t include. Is this considered an ‘inspired by Aventus’ fragrance?

Side note, I see you are from Manchester. I just finished watching All or Nothing on Amazon. They followed Man City and Pep G. Great show.

It definitely is "inspired" by Aventus or at least jumps on the Aventus bandwagon and popularity, of course, Roja will never admit it.

I noticed Office for Men is on the list? I would have thought it to be more Sauvage-inspired rather than Aventus.

I meant to write Dua Poseidon's Elixir instead of Supernova (Supernova is the Elysium clone). They have a few iterations of various batches too.

Also Alexandria Fragrances Brasilia and Milton Lloyd No. 9 Victor can be added.

Will add these. I don’t see Poseidon’s elixir in Fragrantica. I can still add with out info. I have no idea on office for men. I saw some mention that it was a clone. I have never smelled.

Based on my casual understanding, being a Man United fan has been good over the years. Like the Yankees of the premier league. I have been a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL my entire life. I am just happy when they have a winning record.

2010-2018 Aventus is banned by IFRA in the EU. There have been over 5 major ingredient bans/restrictions since then, for most major fragrances. 2011 had the most regarded batch known (11z01) and 2012 had the best smoky batches.

I'm talking about the 2018 version in a black bottle. A dark and long lasting Aventus clone.

By the way another fragrance to add into the list is Mercedes Benz Select which is quite popular because of the price and availability at department stores.

I'd say the only fragrance in this collection that smells 'like' modern Aventus is Insurrection II Pure, it smells like crap but it smells 'like' modern Aventus. CDNIM has a more generic citrus top but it also kind of resembles facets of vintage Aventus and smells pretty good but pales in comparison to the OG. So if you wanna save money (and time) just buy Aventus or CDNIM and you'll remain happy.

DUA Remixed MOD 3. A dead on clone of Aventus more than all of their other clones. This one is 100% to my nose.
