Colonia Intensa Oud/ Colonia Oud by Acqua di Parma (2012)

AdP ventured into the oud market and here is the result. Oud, but with a genteel AdP touch. Everything is well balanced. The citrus notes are very brief and pushed aside by the weighty notes of oud, spice and wood. A little bit sweet but not problematic. Cedar and sandalwood are clearly identifiable. Light musk and leather round out the scent. A safe, somewhat predictable oud-leather scent. If you are curious to try oud, this is a good starting-point.

Top Notes: calabrian bergamot, italian orange
Heart Notes: oud, russian coriander, haitian amyris wood
Base Notes: atlas cedarwood, indonesian patchouli, sandalwood, musk, leather
