Good evening guys. Can anyone please tell me if there is a difference between the original oud maximus and the one from 2020. I have the vintage one which I didn't store properly and I think it turned. Or maybe I have a covid nose

I asked Dmitry this very question and basically got the answer that the newer versions are less animalic with a bigger focus on the florals.

And could this perfume turn bad. I mean since it has less chemicals (if none) than othere , is there a chance that it's only my nose. Because same happened to me with other beast mode fragrance like DHI, DHP and lidge where I can only detect the smell for like 30 min and then disappear

If you got covid - then this is normal, and frags will smell off. Read on experiences of others, there is a thread about it.
Also, if you store your stuff carelessly, sure itll turn bad.

Finally comparing the OG Mysterious Oud with the current version. I think that they are very similar, however, there is a noticeable difference in the oud base. The OG has a more leathery quality to it, a bit of a chocolate facet, and feels a tad bit denser, and animalic. The current version is cleaner. They might come across as almost identical in the air, but sniffed close on the skin, I can't help but notice the slight difference. Besides, the original bottles looked amazing. I'll definitely try and get an older one.

Very small difference though.

Notes sounds interesting, but I'm a bit skeptic towards the "extrait de cologne" concentration.
His eau de parfums isn't exactly strong performers to begin with.
I hope it's more of a gimmick than anything, and that they perform like an extrait.

With which ones did you have "performance issues"?

Oud Monarch, Triad, and Musk Khabib all last very long for me

no uk ship :(
Geez, shipping to Canada is a pain the arse so I've been avoiding looking into shipping across the pond.
There are many shipping forwarding companies that take care of that. I have a ton of customers from eBay that use that type of service. So, just now I had a thought, what if I contact them and see if they'll ship for me! They know all the tariffs and the do's and don'ts so this may be a solution for me.

Dont even start about shipping to Canada. I feel that our laws and regulations are from the Dark Ages.....everything works against us

Count your blessing that your not in the EU/UK. It could be worse.
Well, they have alot of good stores and Harrods to cover for quite a few brands that are not even shipping to Canada. And flights around europe, at least before were dirt cheap, so i could rent a pp box or have mail it to a friend and pick stuff up myself from there

lol. Yea somehow I doubt they’d consider themselves lucky for that.
