any suggestions for materials and/or rough draft formulas to evoke blood? preferably limited to what can be obtained from the small scale suppliers (so no oct-1-en-3-one)

all I have so far is rose oxide and vetiverol

Jamie linked his offering of Filbertone in his suggestion, and I'm pretty sure Harry carries most if not all of the stuff he recommended. Both sell in hobbyist quantities.
