And the great thing about these is that they're so inexpensive, at least online, yet smell like they cost several times the asking price. (Lists for around $100 here, but you can find this for $30 online.)

How could I have missed mentioning this - I have a bottle and love it. I tried the newer version (they dropped the 'imperiale') and it seems to be okay but definitely more sheer - lighter.

If anyone likes opoponax there is also a Diptyque room scent that is great - I use it in the studio.
