I'll buy it for sure in a bit of time hope it lasts. I have all eo1s iterations plus a bespoke eo1 with 3 gr of sultani 1975. Seems I cant get enough of EO1... I want to pass them down to my grandsons
How sultani changed profile compared to original PP?

Yeah it’s fantastic

I’m hoping strifeknot or naylor will split it! If it’s sufficiently different from the others then I’ll be in for a bottle
Im interested in 15 atm, but not quite sure what to expect from this release.
I dont think Strifeknot is doing new splits right now, and Naylor is not ordering one either from what i understand.
Ensar should really make it a standard to do 15 and 30 with 50 being an option when Xcal needs it :)

I'm still recovering from OSK, TG, and KR.....won't be buying anything from anyone for a few months. lol I'm pretty sure the EO1 Sultani will smell nice though.

You can be sure EO will release the gold plaque in 30ml, you can count on it. Just a matter of time after the 50ml leather edition sold out.

To be honest I have a bit of Love hate relationship with it. It seems they didn't blend really well together in my opinion. It was based on Eo1 Assam with an add on of 3gr of Sultani 1975. I have both of them on their own and I enjoy wearing each one alone. Oud sultani 1975 is an oud perfume on its own. I wore the semi bespoke three or 4 times in few months. It makes Eo1 Assam a bit more rugged. Dusty leathery notes are somewhat more pronounced in the blend but they are not as animalic as in the raw oud. At the same time the notes of eo1 Assam are not enanched by the oud. Maybe the Ambergris in eo1 Assam do not marry this oud very well, or maybe the formula might needed to be rebalanced a bit. I have no Idea but I enjoy better both of them in their original format better.

At least for now I might change my mind with time trying it more.

IMO, I think Sultani 1975 oud would pair better with the Siem Reap base, which has a softer, gentler, and prettier Cambodian oud base. The Assam has quite a pungent vintage assam oud in it that may clash with, or bury the Sultani. If i were to dump 3g of Sultani into an EO1, it would most certainly be the Siem Reap version for sure.

Problem is, and i am speculating, but based on some previous reports, that it might be weaker than original release in 50ml?

How much OSK did you purchase?

Yea maybe I should have gone with the Siem reap. I think it would have blended better as well.

I doubt it would be weaker, EO1 is the flagship in EOX series....I do not think EO would intentionally weaken it or messed this one up, if anything, people may get anosmic to it since there's a ton of ambergris in that stuff. Personally, I still have some noseblind issue with the Manipur edition even to this day.....

I got the leather version of OSK in 50ml, which was the only size available during the launch, 30ml wasn't available at the time of my purchase. $1500 burned a big hole in my wallet, without any lube....my wallet is still hurting now. 😂:ROFLMAO:

Curious but is musc gardenia typically a floral forward fragrance? Is it feminine leaning? I assume the musk adds some depth that helps with the overall structure? Feedback would be great!

It is floral forward, but the oud and musk prevent it from going full on feminine. I would call it unisex, but others may see it differently.

This! I mean, maybe it's just not worth it for them. But I can definitely say for myself that I'm skipping a lot of EO releases purely because 30ml is too much juice and it's too much spending. And here I don't even mind to pay a bit more per ml for a smaller size.

On another note, but also related, EO4 reeeaally grew on me. While I still don't think it hits the cola note exactly, there's still something about it that I absolutely love. In a different way than say Tigerwood 1990 PP. EO4 is more like Thai Tabac OG, somehow intoxicating 🤤 But again, 50ml for 999$, that's a thing of the past for me since more than a year....

Thanks. I have Iris Ghalia (latest version) would you say it’s neutral in that sense? Nervous about sending $$ and it’s just a floral bomb… anything you’d could reference or maybe explain the stand out notes?

Have you tried Huaxia from Elixir? They exist in the same universe to me, sweet but not indolic, musky white floral. Love both!

It's not as feminine as Royal Kinam PP, it's neutral to my nose. MG has a very clean white floral with a touch of powdery, quite a versatile gentlemanly scent to me.

All costs are translated to consumer either way. They only thing that can be considered a "gift" is not to get a massive markup when Habib does these leather sleeves or something in that tone.
Only additional cost for them is time taken to fill up more bottles that are 15ml, thats it. Juice, as a finished product doesnt become more or less expensive with volume.

I would be curious to see the 15ml leather sleeve version though. It would put a smile on my face :)

Agree on both points. 50 mL bottles have more juice than I can use and of course are pricey. Big fan of 15 and 30mL offerings.

EO4, too sweet for me normally, is addicting. I’m just waiting for the smaller bottles to come out, which I am sure will happen because it’s an EO No xx fragrance. It should be around for a while.

As a floral forward fragrance it’s on par I’d say (but not same as) with EO Green, Chypre Narcotique and Monsieur Oud, if you know those. Grab a 15 of MG to reduce your blind buy risk. Or wait for decants to appear.

What do you guys think will there be another release for the Ramadan sale or not ?
Musc gardenia is extremely tempting but somehow I have the feeling that this won’t be the last release for the Ramadan time 😅

Ofcorse not the last. Month of Ramadan is Ensars biggest month for gifts.
As always - do what your budget allows you.

Do you own another rendition of MG or something "similar" like TG?
If so, I would wait it out to see comes next.
In my case, a regular MG at this price point was what I was waiting for so I copped a 15ml.

I have Tahitian gardenia and musc gardenia white kinam. I’ll probably wait and see what they’ll release in the next week.
I just hope that the discount will be still available ☺️

A 15ml Leathercase variant/option would be a dream for me.

A dream for me is also if you could choose as an extra option whether you want to have a semi bespoke leathercase in addition to the fragrance.

I would gladly pay extra for this. Because the flacons with the gold or the new silver badges I do not find good. The coating starts to flake off with many fragrances etc..

During Ramadan EnsarOud always releases very interesting fragrances. But my tip is: wait until the end of ramadan. In recent years, was always published at the end of Ramadan very interesting semi bespoke fragrances. These fragrances I have never seen afterwards in the resale or similar..

Undecided on picking up a 15ml of the new Iris Ghalia or Musc Gardénia… I own a sample of IG.. it’s beautiful. I don’t think it’s appropriate for a spring/summer (subjective I guess) and I’ll look for something more for that environment. What are your thoughts and suggestions?

Picked up 15ml of Musc Gardenia. I have about 10ml of Tahitian Gardenia it seems they contain most of the same notes. I wonder if it has a similar scent trail.

When I compared the note breakdown between the new one to TG, here's what Ensar said:

"It is worthy of note that apart from the "Gardenia" facets, the two are distinct compositions, not iterations of the same general recipe, or "flankers" as some folks like to say. It's like comparing EO2 to Tibetan Musk.... both will have resins, musks and spices, along with varying amounts of shared florals; but they're ultimately completely different compositions."

With that said, after having some age to it.....Oud Sultani Kelantan went a different direction after few months, now it's a lot more masculine than the previous predecessors, OSK is much more oudier, darker, more resinous, and a bit more powdery and bold than Oud Sultani Terengganu and Oud Sultani 1975. OST and OS75 didn't change much, the scent profiles of those two are closer together while the OSK became quite a different masculine beast. Those who found OST/OS75 a bit too feminine would absolutely love the OSK.

I wore OST last night. I thought it had grown more oud-y and a bit less floral than when released! Still the same scent profile of course. and its still a dynamite scent.
I never know with these apparent scent shifts whether its the juice or just my nose, or scent memory, shifting.

Oud Sultani Terengganu the best of the best. Wonderful wear. One of Ensar’s best for Me.

Wearing OST today after a long lay off and what more can i say, just Wow! Incredibly unique and dances between the lines of masculine and feminine so well. Although it's quite monotone in its smell, the scent profile is so rich you don't really get tired of it. A very high class event sorta perfume and not one i want to overindulge in.
