advise on this particular denatured ethyl alcohol?

No chemist but I'd say no as Brucine Sulphate is toxic. Why not just use food grade ethanol?

Hadn't considered that it could be difficult to obtain., thank you.
Don't know a safe alternative, the denaturing I'm familiar with is both toxic and smells bad purposely.
