Advice needed before final decision

Hello , dear friends
I finally got down to three fragrances to choose from.
I need and can afford only one of them so I would really appreciate uour help/advice on which one is better for a 41 year old man for work (teacher)
1 Montblanc Explorer
2 Prada luna rossa carbon
3 Dior Homme 2020

I can't get samples, but I have had explorer ( 30 ml) before and I tested Prada luna rossa carbon and Dior Homme 2020.
Now I have run out of fragrances whatsoever and will use a deodorant stick tomorrow)
For some reason it's really hard for me to choose one of these fragrances, might be due to the high price and lack of experience. Would be grateful for any comments)

Ok, you said that you tested them, which one did you like best? That’s the one….

I'd go with DH 2020. The other two are good enough, I like all of them. But DH 2020 is by far the best, and it's not really even close....IMO.

There's nothing to know when choosing a perfume. Advices make sense for blind buys, but if you've tried the 3 of them, it's just useless.
It's a scent you're buying, not an intergalactic spaceship. Get the one you prefer, case closed.

I do like both DH 2020 and Prada LRC. DH 2020 is creamy wood, Prada LRC soapy cold metallic. I'd probably wear the DH 2020 more often.

If having to recommend (as well as personally go for) only one mentioned in the initial thread starting post, would most likely consider a fairly even tie as well as a quite evenly shared first place between Montblanc Explorer and Luna Rossa Carbon, as equally valid and rewarding options.

I believe "that" DH is pre-2020 and "Dior Homme Original", whereas the Dior Homme one buys new now is what people call "Dior Homme 2020" and it's a woody Iso-E without iris.

Torik, I hope I didn't come across as mean-spirited. I'm a Basque Cuban, we tend to be too direct for own our good.

Thing is, we all get too caught up sometimes in "what's the best fragrance?", "what should I wear to impress?" In real life, fragrance is a very personal thing. It expresses who we are. It gives us comfort. Like jewelry, or clothes, it acts as an armor. It makes you feel protected, ready to take on the world.

I look have to admit, that for a couple of years I have tried to find a signature scent. The concept of rotation seemed strange to me. Now I understand that those who like using fragrances just can't choose one or just can't limit themselves to one. I'll try to rotate my fragrances.

It's comparable to the others. It's the fruitiest one. I like it.

Dior Homme 2020, not only from a scent profile, but also from a silage and longevity perspective as well. I own all three. second would be luna rosa carbon as it is fresh and has a "fierce" vibe about it with moderate longevity, and lastly explorer. Although I love explorer scent profile, the longevity isn't as good.

They are all fine for work. The main thing to remember for work is to limit the amount of sprays so you don't gas out coworkers and clients.

If you can't decide based on smell, then I would advise to simply buy the least inexpensive one. Why spend more when you don't feel a preference in scent?

Yes it's very nice and most people will probably find it acceptable and non-offensive. I personally like it much more than the other fragrances you were asking about earlier. But that's just personal preference.

Personally, I don't think you can go wrong with either Dior Homme 2020 or the Sport 2021 flanker.

My advice is to wear the fragrance right the way through its 3 stages - top, heart and base - to see if you like how it progresses. Wear it more than once and in different environments/climates and situations, if at all possible. Only then will you know if it's a keeper.
