Douglas perfumeries made a top 10 of this years bestsellers...


German perfumery operator Douglas was quick off the mark to announce the top-selling fragrances at its domestic stores for the year 2004. Douglas operated 415 perfumeries in Germany at the end of September 2004.

Very interesting. Thanks, Cedric! I wonder if Chanel No. 5 is ever NOT on a top ten list anywhere? :) What is that statistic -- every five minutes a bottle of No. 5 is sold? I really need to sample Pure by Jil Sander -- that's the only one on the list I haven't sampled yet.

Thanks Cedric. I never think of Light Blue as a European scent. Wonder why? It's just too sweet and light.

I France N¡5 is the second bestseller and Coco Mademoiselle and Chance (don't remember their position tho) are also in the top 10.

I fail to see what's so special about Light Blue. It's very boring and a tad reminiscent of lemon rind. It's sour and musky and all around not very appealing, especially on this girl I work with. She always smells salty with Light Blue on. :eek:

On me, Light Blue smells like rubbing alcohol :p
