20-23 Sprays of Perfume to make it last Longer and Apply Oil before it ? Would you do it ?

HI Guys,

Wanted to ask you about what do you guys think about this idea, so there is this YouTuber called Curly Fragrance (A Woman Actually) I think based out of Netherlands and she has this weird style of starting the Video, before starting every video she asks men to tighten Testicles and get it in Place before you watch her Videos lol ! And that is how she starts her Video lol !

She was talking about in one video on what she does and recommends for her Fragrance to stay longer and project better.

So this lady suggests to spray about 20-23 sprays of any perfume. And also she says to use some perfume oils for e.g. Abdul Samad Al Qureshi’s Deer Musk and Mandarin Musk and then spray your perfume over it. And by doing this she says the perfume will last longer.

My question is will these Perfume Oils not have their own scent and with the name they sound like potent scented oils, will they not conflict with the Fragrance I want to use over it as even the oils will have their own scent and thereby making a cocktail of things. How ill it help making the perfume project better ?when there is a high chance your end result might smell completely different to what you were intending it to be.

Has anyone used these Perfume Oils to layer before using your ultimate fragrance to project it better ?

To layer a fragrance with a clashing perfumed oil is... counterproductive, to say the least. And 20-23 sprays? That sounds BONKERS. Imagine riding an elevator with that person. You'd be unconscious after three floors.

I dont think it was Marketing because she was not talking or promoting about any one particular fragrance. She was talking about her Fragrance Spraying Regime, and what she does.

But bear in mind., as hot as she is, nobody is going to give her shyt if she overdoes it on the fragrance. Given the physical shape she's in, she'd probably kick the crap out of anyone who bugged her about it.

If you smack yourself with 20+ sprays, it isn't so likely to go overlooked or be well received. I can go a little trigger heavy from time to time, but take what she says with a grain of salt. She's there to entertain and get views. This isn't a woman giving you heartfelt advice. This is a business for her. She's not just some hot babe giving out free advice for guys to lure women. She's an influencer and they get paid money to push things.

I am actually thinking to follow her advice. Even with heavy duty performers like Memo, Interlude-53 I am not happy with the performance I get out of 7-8 sprays so I would actually start spraying maybe about 12-13 sprays.

Especially with Stronger with You series. I love SWY Absolutely and Intensely but not very happy with the projection that they give even after 8 sprays So I would now double it. Who the effing cares if others get choked or whatever. If I like it I will do it.😉

A fragrance tends to last longer on moisturized skin for some reason.

Seriously she's the last person I'd take any advice from.

I'm all for applying a high quality oil, I wear oils predominantly and occasionally a spray on top.

My skin doesn't perform well, it's just a fact that some of our bodies and senses don't perform as well as others.

Stay hydrated! Water in, lotion on and don't apply excessively as TOO MUCH too near to your nose will ACCELERATE olfactory fatigue.

I call this normal A designer fragrance for me let's say Versace Dylan Blue if wearing a shirt. I'll have about 20 sprays over the shirt. My fragrance bottles finish quickly The advice regarding spraying after a shower is absolutely 100% correct. Also I've seen many reviewers spraying on their hands and wrists. Don't they wash their hands after they go-to the bathroom?

I'm quite sure that if Curly did not spend time in the Middle East she would not have this attitude 100% The real issue is lack of confidence. There are not many spray perfumes on the market today that after 5- 6 hours still project strongly.PEACE

I'm an oversprayer (and proud), but, I mean, I do more sprays with discreet fragrances, less with beast mode ones, and I have never gone beyond maybe 6 on me and a couple more on my clothes.

There are some very light fragrances that I "overspray" by using 6-8 sprays. Otherwise, everything gets 1 to 4 sprays depending on its tenacity. Applying oils will not typically help projection but in some cases assists the 'density' or 'richness' of the wearing, and it may even help longevity. All depends on the oil. Want a more earthy experience to your vetiver fragrance? You can apply some pure vetiver essential oil. But folks really need to be careful with oils, as some can cause adverse reactions.

I have never gone beyond maybe 6 on me and a couple more on my clothes.

I wouldn't call that overspraying, 6-8 sprays is pretty standard for me with the average EDT, might even go up to 12 if I'm outdoors most of the day, but it's not typical.
