Simply a change in nomenclature for initial anglophone markets in 1978, but eventually pour Homme bottles ended up everywhere before discontinuation when Ted Lapidus left his contract with L'Oréal for Bogart Group in 1986. Eventually, he would sell his entire house to them too.

ps: isnt any dedicated 3d or guide? yet it's a famous perfume

Lots of famous perfumes don’t have standalone guides. I don't think Ted Lapidus for Men/pour Homme was popular enough, historically significant enough, or went through enough significant variations to warrant a guide.

This has nothing to do with how good it is; I prefer it to many more guide-worthy fragrances. It’s just that Ted Lapidus pour Homme is what it is. You don’t need the right batch code, box color, or secret handshake.

I have a 50, 100 and 250 ml. Yes, a piece of Art. True 70s perfume. Ted Lapidus was a serieus brand , a good designer. About the bottles...there are different bottles design wise, and spray and splash... i understood after research and instinctive studies ( lol), the early ones were splash only, and with the ○ symbol, and later on the % symbol appeared along with a spray version.

if we put it like this then yes, you are absolutely right...
so, the various batch of TLPH don't have significant variations in the smelling profile ? these is a good thing i suppose...

Well, let’s put it this way: I’ve never seen any suggestion of it, and I would think that someone would have made a thing of it on BN by now. I haven’t gone around sniffing all the TLPH batches, so anything’s possible.

Like Varanis stated, Ted lapidus ph was only around for 8 years...dismissed in 86, so most likely no messing around in those years anyway concerning the scentprofile. I never heard of it. So all bottles should be good regarding the formulation.
