I like Acqua di Gio Profumo.
Here's on of my older threads: https://basenotes.com/threads/all-you-need-to-know-about-armani-acqua-di-gio-profumo-2020-2021-reformulation.487093/
As I've said there AdG Profumo wasn't reformulated (officially) over all the years since its release which is pretty...
Prada Luna Rossa Black or Armani Code Absolu are really good "date night" fragrances if you ask me. :)
But I'd just wear what I feel comfortable with, even if it's a bit more "daring".
Out of the 4 you've mentioned I'd pick Layton of course. ;)
For me original La Nuit de L'Homme (until late 2015) is still the best.
Second Frozen Cologne.
Third maybe L'Homme Ultime.
And I don't get the hype with Bleu Electrique.
It has a very nice opening, but in the later drydown you get that generic base which is used in other fragrances by...
I've bought a bottle of the regular Interlude Man this year (2021 batch), which was probably made in the same time like the 53 extrait.
Honestly I've expected nothing because I've already seen that the quality of Amouage fragrances went down the last years - and I was so surprised when I...
Yes, Prada L'Homme Intense is discontinued.
It's already sold out at the biggest online sellers here in Germany.
I haven't checked all international Armani websites but as the manufacturer is L'Oreal Paris I thought that the French website is probably the most accurate and up to date one.
you certainly heard the rumours about Armani Acqua di Gio Profumo is going to be discontinued.
When I asked my contacts at L'Oreal (the manufacturer) they said they don't know anything about AdG Profumo going out of production.
But it already was a little bit rare during the...
The late 2018 ones were also really good, but more "rough" and leathery, less zesty and floral.
Biggest surprise to me is they took out the Lyral within the 2019 formulation (you can look it up in the linked thread, when that formulation started - January 2019 is still the former one) - and the...
Where did I say that the first edition of DHI is from 2018?
Negative comments appeared during 2019 when there was no 100 ml bottle around.
I see that you think that all people who pay a bit more for the older 75 ml bottles are idiots.
You by yourself obviously have never smelled lets say a...
DHI 2020 has the same formulation code written on the box as DHI 2019 or DHI 2018.
That's why I posted this as an example because with DHI 2020 there's more common sense that it doesn't smell like a 2019 or 2018 one anymore.
I guess you've misunderstood something:
I totally believe you that...
I experienced exactly the opposite.
And the people I talked to about the new 2020 DHI and DHP have been using these fragrances for years, have large, high-quality collections, and are also very knowledgeable about fragrances.
When DHI was changed to the 2020 version, several SAs independently...
I don't know.
As far as I've seen the hype is more around DHI than DHP.
But I also think that there are people who know both the older and the newer bottles of DHP and want the older 75 ml ones for a reason and are therefore willing to pay the higher prices.
The 75 ml ones are getting harder...
I agree, and I have a hard time wearing some of the popular MFKs therefore because they sometimes feel that screechy and are headache inducing. Which is a shame because I like the scent of some of them.
Yes I remember that.
He started mentioning it when people exposed that.
The time before he always showed the bottles with the big dents and said something like "you see how much I've already used" to prove that the fragrance is that good. Which I've never believed as I also have many bottles...
Thanks for looking that up.
If that one really smells the same I would also sell that one and get two 100 ml instead.
I still have my 75 ml backups which I could easily sell for double the price I've paid which I haven't done yet because I just like them better than the newer ones. But...
