Bright Crystal by Versace

I'm just here looking for a replacement for Armani CityGlam. There are similarities to CityGlam, they share this very soft woody, very synthetic and 'cold' base. CityGlam as a whole was a fragrance that was loud in its softness. It was frozen berries and an air of " cant touch me". Bright Crystal is not that loud, not that fruity. It just makes me more sad that CityGlam is discountinued. Maybe it will win me over with a few more wears. I feel like maybe if I combine it with another fragrance I'll get closer to CityGlam

Knightsbridge by Robert Piguet

For what it is, it is very well done. It's dark and looming, you might think there is oud here but it isnt. It's too likeable for that. It's not my personal taste though, but I can see there are lovers of this.

Chai by Robert Piguet

It starts of very strong and harsh and then mellows out. It's not as in your face as real chai, but it's like a nice gourmand fragrance with some interest too. Very wearable

Casbah by Robert Piguet

So much incense and there is no escape. You must love incense to love this, it's not for me. It's incense and pepper and smoke and I need a silver happy lining to it to balance it out for my taste.

L'Entier by Robert Piguet

I tried this in a flutter of sampling everything on the counter, and it was good. It's a nice very unisex airy and marine fragrance. If you want to smell of something but not be an obvious perfume I'd suggest this. You'd smell like incredibly nice clean laundry

Bubble by Der Duft

It really has an alcoholic note and smells like champagne. It does fade a bit and then it becomes more floral. Its fun and unusual

Thé Basilic by Molinard

The opening is very sharp and herbal, then it settles down and reminds me of the fragrance of onsen baths.

Inoffensive, charming every day scent. Think expensive shampoo fragrance

Alphaora 30 by Parfumerie Generale

Smells like an aromatic panna cotta, I like it. If you like the idea of forest and grass smells, but they are too harsh I would recommend trying this one. It's very mellow and the sharpness is toned down by the fruity notes, tabacco and the ambergris.

Indus by Ormonde Jayne

The opening is extremely interesting and opulent, but then the rose takes over and it's becomes quite a fairly standard fruity oriental rose. It's very good, but the opening is incredible. On the whole it reminded me of Nahema, but less nutty.

Mojito Chypre by Pierre Guillaume

The opening is fantastic, but then as time goes on you get less enthusiastic. Everything that makes it great fades rather quick. The top notes are what sells this, after that its ok. Just....ok really. It kinda reminds me of a 4160 fragrance.

Ciel d'Airain by Pierre Guillaume

Woody fig, it almost smells like vertiver to me. It's good, not annoying in the slighest but not for me personally. If you want a dryer fig, this is a good one to seek out

Slow Explosions by Imaginary Authors

It really really reminds me of rose/oud, but it isnt listed as a note. I think its the leather and rose/apple.
The opening gives a blast of apples and the drydown is more leather and leather. It kinda reminds me of Dzing! Leather with a bit of interest

Bois Naufragé 16.1 / Private Collection - Bois Naufragé by Parfumerie Generale

Creamy woody seaside. Not for me to wear, but I'd love to smell it on someone else.
I think this would be fantastic on someone who wants something a little different than the usual vertiver/fougere masculine scents, but doesnt want to go too crazy. It's a very "come closer" scent.

Modern Classic Noir for Women by Brocard

Reminds me of the clean smell in the Amsterdam Airport toilettes. A bit of fruit, some sweetness and clean musk

Swedoft by SweDoft

Extremly transparent and light. A lingering " just showered or washed my hair" scent.

Gold Coast by Bond No. 9

This is very synthetic, mainstream and bland. And not in a good way, but more in a cheap air freshner way

TriBeCa by Bond No. 9

This is a nice green fruity gourmand. Often gourmands are very over the too and almost nauseating with their sweetness, but it is nicely balanced here. It is kind of like the chypre effect uplifting and setting other notes sparkling, I think that is what the moss and green nuts are doing. The green wet elements of jasmine adds to it.

It started more traditionally gourmand though, but the drydown is interesting.

Hudson Yards by Bond No. 9

Lily of the Valley stands out, but I wouldn't call it a strong perfume. most of Bond no9 scents are powerhouses of fragrance, but this isn't as strong as some of them.

Salted Green Mango by Strangers Parfumerie

It's a new take on a fruity perfume and Im here for it. It reminds me of the sea more than some marine scents do and the saltiness is real. For all its strangeness it is easy to wear and might lean a bit masculine.

Gentle Fluidity (Silver Edition) by Maison Francis Kurkdjian

The most boring fragrance that I ever tried. It literally evokes nothingness to my nose. I smell it, but it leaves me blank and bored.
