the_good_life's Review of Serge Noire by Serge Lutens

Never had cumin, cheese or onion issues with this, I'm almost sure there are genetically driven perception differences with this one, inoccuous as the ingredients sound. It's a burnt amber for sure and I recall Luca Turin considering it quite the train wreck. You could say it's reminiscent of an early 70s hippie joint where someone wearing a cheap patchouli fragrance just set their hair on fire while burning low grade amber joss sticks and drinking cinnamon chai. Spray this on and your trousers will grow bell bottoms. It's very campy in that way, but I like it.
