silentrich's Review of Eau Sauvage Extrême (new / Intense) by Christian Dior

This flanker of Eau Sauvage is really exactly what I thought it would be. It's an updated version of the original, but not nearly as good as the original. It's pretty interesting the way they made it. Instead of a big front loaded citrus fragrance, it's a big woody back end or dry down. Personally I would have like something more interesting than the prominent Virginia Cedar note that seems to be in a lot of men's fragrances. It's obvious where they were aiming with this one, but if you're looking for something along these lines just buy a bottle of Fahrenheit or Aqua Fahrenheit. If you want something that is a true flanker buy the Parfum edition which is much more interesting.
