Lacoste are following up Eau de Lacoste in January, with new fragrance Eau de Lacoste Sensuelle. Where Eau de Lacoste was designed to recreate the feeling of “wearing white pure cotton on skin on a beautiful summer’s day”, The Sensuelle version recreates “the feeling of the evolution from a sunny day to a cool and refreshing evening.”The fragrance contains notes of Pink pepper, Blackcurrant, Turkish rose, Sweet pea, Gladiolus inflexus, Nougatine and AmberBerta de Pablos-Barbier, Lacoste Senior Executive Vice President Branding & Communications says: “For the Lacoste Woman, the transformation from day to night simply enhances her beauty, allowing her to feel naturally sensual thus free.”Aveen Mallak, P&G Fragrance Creation Expert adds, “We created Eau de Lacoste to enhance that warm feeling you experience as sunshine slowly slips away to twilight, transforming the air around you from warmth to the calm coolness of a smooth evening breeze. To recreate this comforting scene the fragrance opens with a sparkle that quickly evolves into the calm floralcy of rose and gladioli. This eventually settles into the soft sensuality of sweet edible notes, as an enticing finale.”The bottle was created by Christophe Pillet. The midnight blue shade is reminiscent of the early evening sky, whilst the petit piqué-textured cap references Lacoste’s iconic polo shirt. The fragrance is available from January in 30ml and 100ml sizes.
