Last night, Creed held the London launch for their latest feminine fragrance, Carmina, which they describe as “a bold yet sultry scent that will transport you on a fragrant journey to sensuous locations.
Harking back to the house’s origins in fashion, the scent takes inspiration from Henry Creed’s fashion sketchbooks, adorned with colourful dresses in voluminous, luxurious fabrics, which evoked a sense of grandeur and excellence.
Notes for the fragrance include Pink Pepper, Black Cherry, and Saffron in the head; a heart with May Rose, Peony, and Cashmere Wood; and the dry down features Frankincense, Myrrh, Amber and Musk.
The launch party was held at Frameless – an art gallery for multi-sensory immersive art. And each of the galleries featured immersive art inspired by the top, middle and heart notes of the fragrance:
“Visitors to The House of Creed X Frameless Carmina experience will be transported to sweeping sand dunes via interactive digital displays – to lose themselves beneath grandiose suspended rings in vibrant magenta, or step within the rotating sculptural window and imagine a different place, a different time….”
Guests to the launch party were offered Carmina cocktails inspired by the scent. The drink, created by mixologist, Giorgio Tosato aka The Notorious Cocktail, contained Cotswolds Dry Gin, Black Cherry Wine, Rose & Violet Cordial, Pink Pepper, Lime, Rose and Woody Essence.
Members of the public can visit the exhibition today (15th September) for free, and it marks the first time Frameless is opening its doors to the public, free of charge, to experience one of its brand partnerships.
Carmina is available now at Creed and Flannels boutiques in the UK, before launching 20th September, nationwide.
