Just logged in to leave a message in the forums and thought I'd pop-in to say howdy to you too! x]
You know, I'm glad I got "chased off" basenotes all that time ago because now I don't spend as much money (yay) and I research better and patiently wait for my favorites to show up here and there. I also appreciate all I have a lot more!
Me and mine are excellent and had a great Xmas and New Year.
I hope you and yours are and did the same!
ACCESS TO AIR MDM VOL No5 GRACIOUSLY GRANTED TO GRANDE DAME SUNNYFUNNY. HOT GENIES, KINDLY CARRY MADEMOISELLE BACK INTO THE CABIN. PLEASE HAVE A WORD WITH HER ON THE WAY TO SEE ABOUT WHAT SHE MIGHT WISH TO DO TO KEEP HER FRIGHTFUL QUEEN IN CHECK. THANK YOU FOR FLYING AIR MDM.
Of course we are friends, such pleasures are only delight: Like meeting you there, upon my flight! We'll take another, and farther we'll go, you think we can? I think we might: Cuz look! the horizon! it's so sunny and full of light, and you and I, we're so funny, it's outta sight! Friends we are, friends we'll be---grande dame or cocotte: Means nothing to me!
Been meaning to come and say hello but I've basically been avoiding BN for a few months now.
Quite the sordid tale! Needless to say, not being here so much is really kind to my wallet! It's like window shopping here - it's only a matter of time before you go "OOO!! THAT's nice!" and succumb.
I still really enjoy my 'fumes and now I feel I know them really well. That's the great thing about not buying too much and to be honest, I think I pretty much have my HG's as it's always the same with new scents for me. IE: "Yeah it's nice but <insert already owned HG> is better in that genre". So I'm not too fussed.
I hope you and yours are well and happy OH and Happy Thanksgiving!!! Is that today? x]
So sorry I haven't popped in to say hello. It's been ages!
I've been sooooooo busy with the kids starting school (last May) and all the related 'extra-curricular' activites that I haven't had much of a chance to sit on BN for long. Still enjoying my 'fumes though!
I have thought of you and hope you are doing well.
How's your nephew - he must be HUGE by now - babys change so much so quickly don't they? xD
I hope to get back to posting here sooner or later and will be spamming your inbox in no time.
Easter says you can put truth in a grave, but it won't stay there. The resurrection gives my life meaning and direction and the opportunity to start over no matter what my circumstances. Our Lord has written the promise of the resurrection, not in books alone, but in every leaf in spring-time.
Everything pretty hectic this end, lots of changes going on but it's all good! Good excuse to indulge in lots of mood-enhancing perfumes. Just realized that I have never, in my adult life, had a boyfriend without facial hair. Strange......
Sorry for the late response but - shame about the My Sin - $60 is a lot for such a risk.
Wouldn't call myself a 'true perfumista' - I'm just old!
One of my boys is stuffed tiger-mad too so that's a particularly cute story for me.
I know there's one place that sells a minimal range of SL in my city but I haven't got there yet! I will eventually!
Re. Chat: It would have been AWESOME to talk to you there - you can open private chat boxes too so I wouldnt have to spam the whole channel talking to you! Lol. I presumed there was something wrong with your connection to the room as lots of people were having trouble. It was heaps fun, though. Sad about the limited time but the times are good for me being that it's the morning which is when the kids are usually watching TV.
I hope to see you there sometime! Will save me from spamming your profile page!
Take care - have a good day/week! (oh and gimmee a cupcake!) <3
Your nephew story is so cute! Does he make you clucky?
The My Sin box - ooooo ssssss - very risky!
My suggestion is to inform them of the danger they've put the perfume in and tell them you have to presume it's turned so you're only paying for the box and bottle. That might work!
I used to wear My Sin - my girlfriend and I used to giggle at the name. I was about 15/16 so I wish I had been a bit more appreciative at the time. I do remember going for another bottle and not finding it but then shrugging and moving on. I guess that's when they got rid of it. I never did see it again.
Today and tomorrow it's 40°C here - that's 104°F - so we're staying indoor as much as possible. Kids go to swimming lessons tomorrow so that's all ok. Today we're going to a heavily airconditioned shopping centre for lunch and to hang out! They love some of the shops there. Kids are easily amused thank goodness!
Hope you have a great day too!
(sorry - can't seem to help spamming you D
Hello Seksy L!
Re: Carnal Flower part 2 - The notes I scribbled are floating all around my desk and I'm still sorting them out! Just haven't had time to pull it all together unfortunately. I'll get there!
You should give JWM a try if you haven't already - it's really OLD FASHIONED which many would class as *ahem* well I wont use the agist/sexist phrase. I actually prefer it's first hour to TG but TG wins on the drydown+. Till I can afford a 75ml bottle ($250 here) I've got a sample of TG and Bali Dream will tide me over for a while. I don't expect you'd like Bali Dream on your skin either - it's like a girlier version of TG. I bought some the day I tried it. So cheap!
My pet housework hates are hoovering and ironing because you have to decide when it's finished and it's never finished! I'll not-so-glady do your dishes for you if you hoover and iron for me! I wish I was a 50's housewife! They LOVED doing the housework!! According to ads anyway.
OH! I forgot to mention ... slow response sorry.
Amber Ylang Ylang
Don't love it - love the other two but AYY is too ... something for me. I'd have to look at my pile of notes to find out what it was. Too candied maybe?
I love amber in general though - one of my favorite ambers is the Prada one - though it's too sheer for my liking. Have you tried it? L'Eau Ambrée. Give it a whirrrl!
Howdy Doody, L!
I'm taking a break from cleaning the car. Hoovering is the worst part. Hoovering to me is akin to ironing and drives me mad. Anything I can do to avoid it! The kids sitting back and laughing at me wrestling with the hoover doesn't help. I prefer cleaning the loo's. >.>
Lol - here I go again - moaning.
How's your day?
How's your nephew?! Infants are amazing creatures.
