My three favourite perfumes right now are:

"Chanel Pour Monsieur": The best fragrance ever created! Unobtrusive, confident and simply divine. But on my skin it lasts little more than an hour.
"Habit Rouge": A unique union of dazzling sweetness, bracing freshness und timeless sophistication. The edp is quite a bit darker (and in my opinion even better) than the edt.
"Timbuktu": Virile and easygoing; and I have always been very fond of patchouli.

Which ones do you like best? By the way, thanks for the nice aphorism!
    Hi, Izzy!

For men, I like most fragrances that belong to the aromatic fougere group.
Kouros, Xyreous, Azzaro, Esencia Loewe, Narcisso Rodrigez, Rive Gauche extreme.
First let me ask you a question: Do you consider Dior, Chanel, Hermès, and Guerlain designer houses? If you don't, I'll leave those out of my answer.
For last year's words belong to last year's language
And next year's words await another voice.
And to make an end is to make a beginning. :)
Good thing I still have my old Catholic Bible ! I will def check out Sirach. Are you Catholic? You must be, to know about that book.
A blessed new year to you, as well. :)
Izzy, your writing is just beautiful!BTW,I LOVE Chucks!Went through several pairs myself in my punky youth!I should look for a pair in my size again-so comfy!
I see you tried 99 Regent Street; the Blue (also called Traditional) from the Hugh Parsons line is one of my must-try scents. I would say also, give Chanel a chance: Pour Homme, Antaeus, Égoïste are all worth smelling. See how you like those. I like that you have Gucci Nobile. That really shows you're a man of taste and distinction!
